Chapter 76 The Auditions Part 2

Clarke P.O.V

First up in the duo auditions was Fox and Miles. Then Octavia, and Raven. They sang Style by Taylor Swift. For the duos everybody was a loud to audition twice, so I was going to audition with Octavia and then with Bellamy. Bellamy would also be auditioning in the duos with Camilo, mainly because Octavia had bullied the two into doing a duo together. She claimed that they were both awesome performers, and the two best boy singers of our little friend group. Therefore, they needed to do a duo. The other duos were good, and they all sung mostly current pop songs. Besides Miles and Fox there was no other boy/girl duo, which performed. I hoped Bellamy and I would get a spot in the duo performances, as did I want Octavia and I to get a spot.

"Mrs. Rose called. We stood and walked to the stage.

"Good luck," Bellamy said to us. The music began to play and we started to sing, Beautiful Liars by Beyonce and Shakira.

Both-Ay, Ay, Ay

Nobody likes being played

Clarke-Beyonce, Beyonce

Octavia-Shakira, Shakira (hey)

We stood back to back.

Octavia-He said I'm worth it, his one desire

Octavia put her hand on her chest as if that was something which made her swoon.

Clarke- I know things about 'em that you wouldn't wanna read about

Octavia-He kissed me, his one and only, (yes) beautiful Liar

Clarke- Tell me how you tolerate the things that you just found out about

We both rapidly turned to face each other, are hair flipping.

Clarke-You never know

Octavia-Why are we the ones who suffer

Clarke- I have to let go

Octavia-He won't be the one to cry

Octavia raised her index finger, shaking it side to side, as if saying "no."

Octavia-(Ay) Let's not kill the karma

(Ay) Let's not start a fight

(Ay) It's not worth the drama

For a beautiful liar

Octavia sung dramatically as did I.

Clarke- Can't we laugh about it (Ha Ha Ha)

Octavia threw her head back, with a smile on her face.

(Oh) It's not worth our time

(Oh) We can live without 'em

I weaved my head side to side in the air.

Clarke-I trusted him, but when I followed you, I saw you together

I pointed at Octavia.

Octavia- I didn't know about you then 'till I saw you with him again

She sang quickly, like the original song.

Clarke- I walked in on your love scene, slow dancing
