Bellamy P.O.V
It was the third day now of the survival trip and so far for me it was going great. I woke up before everyone else and I decided to go to the lake for a swim. It was a little cold outside, but I decided to go in anyways. I took off my shirt and jeans, and jumped in. The water was cold, but my body adjusted to the temperature. I swam until the sun was completely up. When I got out of the lake I sat on a large rock waiting for the sun to dry me. Once I was moderately dry I put on my clothes. As I finished putting on my shirt I felt someone wrap there arms around my waist.
"Hey Princess." I said not turning to look who it was.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not your Princess." A familiar voice said. I instantly pulled out of her grasp and turned around to face her.
"How the hell are you here Anaya?" I asked her.
"I have my ways." She said.
"What the fuck do you want?" I asked her. She could not be here. If she was here that meant her Grounder buddies were here to. Wherever the Grounders were, there was trouble. Besides that I knew Anaya hated me, and she would try to hurt some of the people I cared about. Those people included Clarke and Octavia.
"Well you see I was at home wondering how your Princess and sister would react if they knew you shot the mayor. So I decided I would tell them just to ease my curiosity." She said. Little did she know that Clarke already know that.
"They would never believe you." I told her. Even if Clarke knew I didn't really want O to know.
"Well if they do not that is their problem, but that is not the only reason I came." She said.
"What else do you want?" I said harshly.
"I came to warn you that neither you or your Princess are safe from me." She threatened. My stomach dropped. What was she gonna do? Even though I was worried she would do something to Clarke, I didn't let it show.
"What are you talking about?" I asked, my voice giving away nothing.
"You will see soon enough. But for now just remember my warning, nobody close to you is safe, nobody." She said smiling cynically, then she disappeared into the forest. Though I hadn't shown it those last words she said worried me. She was technically the Grounders' leader, and they were a dangerous Gang. I was sure that they wouldn't give a second though about hurting anyone, if Anaya ordered them to. They hadn't killed anyone before, but they were violent. I knew that, and it sickened me to think that I was once part of them. Of course I only joined because I needed to take care of O but still. I walked back to camp, and looked for Clarke. I didn't know if I should tell her what happened or not, but I knew I had to keep her safe. I found her sitting next to Camilo, laughing. Yesterday night Camilo had told me he only saw Clarke as a friend, and he apologized for punching back at the the party. I wasn't sure if I believed him though. The apology sounded sort of sincere, but he didn't sound very believable when he said he only cared about Clarke as a friend. Maybe he didn't know what he felt for Clarke, but just the way he looked at her made me think he felt more than just friendly love. It sent a terrible feeling of pure jealousy through me. The fact that Camilo and her were already close, and the fact that he was living in the same house as her, made me afraid that Clarke would eventually ditch me for him. Maybe I was being irrational, or stupid in thinking this, but to me Camilo was a threat. Unlike Miller who also liked Clarke, Camilo wasn't my friend and I had no certainty that he wouldn't steal Clarke from me. Clarke saw me, and waved. I walked over the to her. When I reached her I picked her up and kissed her, she wrapped her arms around me and kissed me back. We pulled apart.
"Hey Princess, sleep well?" I asked her pressing my forehead against hers. She still had her arms around my knock.
"Yes, only because I dreamt with you. How did you sleep?" She asked me.
"Great. I was also dreaming with you." I answered, smiling at her.
"Well I'm going to go see if o can find Jasper and Monty. Bye Clarkie." Camilo said.
Why did he call her Clarkie? "Bye Puppy." She said.
I raised an eyebrow at Clarke."Clarkie?Puppy?"
"Yeah that's the nickname that Octavia gave me." She told me.
"I've never here O call you that." I said.
"Well she doesn't use it often. Jasper and Monty use it more often then her. I guess Camilo just decided to start calling me that because he doesn't hear many people call me that." She explained. So what if he doesn't hear people call her that? That doesn't mean he could call her that. I thought.
"Why'd you call him puppy?" I asked her.
She laughed."Ok you can blame that on your sister."
"Why?" I asked curiously.
"The day he arrived at my house he went straight to his room, before Fox, Raven, or Octavia arrived. So when my mom told me to not forget to offer Camilo something to eat, Octavia asked if he was a puppy. So then when Camilo finally came down Octavia asked if he was the puppy." She told me.
I laughed and shook my head, of course O would ask that. Clarke continued."And we have been occasionally calling him that." I nodded.
"Hey I'm gonna go to the lake to get sort of cleaned off, I'll be right back." She said but I stopped her. I didn't want her going off alone into the forest.
"Wait I'll go with you." I told her. She looked at my hair, and then ran her hand through it.
"Your hairs moist, didn't you just come from the lake?" She asked me suspiciously.
"Yes, but that doesn't mean I can't accompany my girlfriend." I told her, and she smiled.
I loved her smile.
"Fine let me just change into my swimsuit." She said and went into her tent. Less then five minutes late She came out wearing a black bikini, with short. I noticed some of the guys staring at her and I sent them death glares. The noticed and turned away immediately.
"Ready?" I asked she nodded and we went to the lake. It was warmer than in the morning, but it still wasn't hot. She took off her shorts and dived into the water. I took off my jeans and shirt, then dived in too. I went underwater and then resurfaced in front of her, slightly startling her.
She splashed water at me."Bellamy! Don't scare me like that."
I laughed."Im sorry Princess. Do you want to race?"
"No I think I'll just float." She said getting on her back.
"Why? Scared I'll beat you?" I taunted.
"Oh your on Blake, from here to that large rock."She said. The rock wasn't too far away, and it was large enough for about four people. I nodded.
"Ready, set, go!" I said and we both swam. Clarke was slightly in front of me, but I quickly caught up. I was first to tach the rock, Clarke was right behind me. I stood on the rock, and Clarke got on after me.
"I win Princess. What's my prize?" I asked.
She smiled."I don't know. What do you want your prize to be?"
"How about a kiss?" I suggested.
She pulled me close, and was about to kiss me. She was centimeters from my lips when she whispered,"Close your eyes." I did. I expected a kiss, but instead I felt her push me. I landed in the water. When I resurfaced, I saw her cracking up in laughter.
"That was so hilarious!" She exclaimed. She crouched down to look at me, still smiling.
"You're in trouble Princess." I said seriously. For a second she looked worried, then I grabbed her wrist and pulled her into the water. She splashed me and I splashed her back.
"We should go back to camp, I think we've had enough water fun for today." She said, and started swimming back to shore, but I grabbed her ankle a pulled her back to me.
"Wait I still haven't gotten my prize."
She rolled her eyes, but leaned in and kissed me. I leaned into her deepening the kiss. All to soon the kiss ended. She smiled at me."C'mon let's go." We swam back to the shore, and she put on her shorts. I shook my head sending water droplets from my hair everywhere. After shaking off some of the water I pulled on my jeans and shirt. We walked to the camp holding hands. I loved holding her hand, because it simply felt amazing whenever I touched her, or whenever she touched me. Whenever we touched it was as if a billion little sparks of lightning coursed through me. We reached camp and she was going to go to her tent to change. Before she could I spin her back to face me and wrapped an arm around her face me. I leaned in an gave her a passionate kiss, she returned the kiss. We pulled apart.
"I love you Princess." I whispered.
"I love you too." She smiled, I smiled back. She went to her tent to change. I looked around and saw a girl with dirty blonde hair obviously trying to flirt with Camilo, he just looked uncomfortable. I was almost certain he didn't know that girl was flirting with him. I laughed and headed to my tent.
Camilo P.O.V
I was feeling highly uncomfortable, here with Keenan. She kept touching me and it was weird, and a little annoying. I looked around to see if there was anyone who could help me get rid of her nicely. I saw Clarke heading to her tent, but she looked like she just came from the lake and was going to change. Bellamy looked over to where I was sitting and laughed. He wasn't going to help.
"So Camilo I was thinking." Keenan began, and trailed her finger along my jawline. "Since you don't have a girlfriend," Where was she going with this? "Why don't you ask me out on a date?"
That caught me by surprise, I stared at her."What?"
"You said you didn't have a girlfriend and I like you. You seem sweet and you are really attractive. I want to go out with you."She explained. I looked at her in surprise. I stayed quiet though. Was I supposed to ask her on a date? I didn't know. If I was to be honest, I had only had one real relationship. I was too shy to ask girls out. The only girl I had ever kissed was when I was in the tenth grade. She had been the one to ask me out. We had dated for a couple months, but then she broke up with me for the captain of the football team. I was fine though, because I didn't really like her. The only reason I stayed with her was because I didn't now how to end things with her.
"Just think about it." Keenan said, and then left. I didn't really like Keenan. I had barley met her yesterday, and I still didn't feel comfortable around her. The people I really felt comfortable around that weren't my family were Octavia, Fox, Monty, Jasper, Raven, Miles and Clarke. The people I felt that I could trust were even less than that, out of all of those people I only truly trusted Clarke. I didn't know what it was that made me fell like I could trust her. Maybe it was because of what she had done for Charlotte, or because she knew about the nightmares both Charlotte and I had. Maybe it was because she didn't press for information that I didn't give her. I honestly didn't know. I sighed and went back to thinking of Keenan's question. Should I say yes? It seemed a little odd to me that she was the one to ask me out, even though that has happened to me before. After about ten minutes of thinking about it I decided I needed help. I went to go talk to Monty and Jasper. Hopefully they would give me advice on what to do. I walked into their tent. Miller and Miles were also in there.
"Sup Camilo." Miller said.
"Hey." I greeted.
"What do you need my friend?" Jasper asked.
"Help, this girl named Keenan asked me out." I explained.
"A girl asked you out?" Monty asked. I nodded.
"So what's the problem?" Miller asked.
"Problem is I didn't answer." I told him.
"Why? Is she ugly or annoying?" Miller asked. I rolled my eyes, of course he would think a reason to reject someone is because they're ugly.
"No she's not ugly. But she kinda does annoy me. She kept touching me, and twirling her hair. Oh and she laughed at things I said that weren't even remotely funny." I told him. Miles exchanged a look with Miller.
Miller threw a shirt at me. I caught it."She was flirting with you dude." They all laughed.
"What?" I asked confused.
"You are so oblivious." Monty said. "You should say yes though."
"I should?" I asked.
"Yeah that way all of us have someone. Except Miller." Monty said."He's a loner."
"I'm not the only loner, there's still Miles here." Miller clasped a hand on Miles shoulder .
"Don't be so sure, I saw him and Fox flirting a little bit on the plane. I also heard she broke up with her boyfriend." Jasper said.
I smiled."You guys gossip way too much to be guys." That made them all throw a bunch of shirts at me. "Seriously I don't know what to do."
"Easy say yes if you like her and if you don't say no." Miller said.
"I don't want to hurt her feelings though." I said.
"You are way to sentimental to be a guy." Miller said. I rolled my eyes, and exited the tent. That was no help. Oh well I didn't want to do this but I had no choice. I went towards the girl's tent. I slapped the tent."May I come in?"
"Yeah." Raven said. I walked in. Raven, Octavia, Clarke, and Fox were inside.
"Hey Puppy, what do you need?" Octavia asked.
"Help, because the other guys were no help." I responded.
"The other guys are never any help." Fox said making everyone laugh and nod in agreement.
"So what do you need help with?" Clarke asked, looking at me with her big blue eyes.
"This girl named Keenan asked me out. I don't really like her and I don't know if I should say yes or no." I told them.
"Well if you don't like her say no." Fox said.
"The problem with that is that I don't know how to say no. I don't want to hurt her feelings." I explained.
"Aww that's so sweet." Octavia exclaimed.
"I have an idea. You can agree to go on a date with her to see if you can actually like her, though you make it clear to her that it the date is just to see if dating will work between you two. If you end up deciding that it won't work you nicely say,'I'm sorry, but I don't think this will work.' That way she already knows what she going into and you aren't leading her on." Clarke suggested. I liked the idea.
"Okay I'll do that, thank you girlies." I said then exited the tent. I looked for Keenan. When I found her I told her that the date would be a trial to see if us dating would work. She agreed. Afterwords I felt a little tired and I went to my tent, the sun was already going down.
