Clarke P.O.V
I awoke at Raven's house, not even confused for a second of why I was there. There was no way I could forget how my mother acted the day before. Last night I had a nightmare, I was at Bellamy's house and when I walked into his room he was kissing Roma. Then he told me he hated me. Luckily it was only a dream, I don't know what I would do if that really happened. I stood up from the couch and grabbed my clothes. After I had finished getting ready, Raven came out from her bedroom already dressed.
"Hey Blondie, want something to eat?" She asked.
"Sure Rae." I responded and followed her into the kitchen, where she was serving us cereal. As we were eating I received a text from Bellamy, I still hadn't changed how I labeled him in my phone.
Asshole-Hey Princess, I'll pick you up at your house in five
Me-Actually I'm at Raven's house, and she's taking me to school
Asshole-Why are you at Raven's?
Me-Because I didn't want to be at my home after how my mother acted
Asshole-Ok, see you at school Princess
Me-See you at school asshole, love you
Asshole-Love you too
"You staying at my house tonight too or at yours?" Raven asked as we finished eating.
"Mine my mom is working until like three am, thanks for letting me stay here yesterday night." I said.
"Your welcome. We should go or we might be late." Raven said. I nodded and we walked to her truck.
"So Rae what's been going on in your life? Lately I feel like we haven't really spoken in forever." I told her.
"That's because you've been too busy sucking face with Bellamy." She teased.
"No." I began," Okay maybe a little." We laughed.
"But seriously, what's going on in the life of the awesome Raven Reyes?"
She shrugged." Nothin' much. Just school, getting over a crap bag ex, crushes, "
I stopped her, "Wait crushes?"
"Did I say crushes, I meant crushing." She said trying to cover up her spill. I looked at her in amusement." As in crushing stuff like crushing someone's face with my fist. You know 'cause I so martial arts. I'm also thinking of maybe taking kick boxing." She was beginning to ramble. Raven did that when she was nervous, lying, or trying to avoid something. I was going to guess the last two.
"Rae I know your lying. C'mon tell me who you like." I begged.
"Can you be clearer please. Because I like a lot of people." She said.
"Rae you know what I mean."
"Fine, it's" She mumbled something I couldn't understand.
"What?" I asked.
She took a deep breath."Monty."
I smiled." That's amazing, you guys would be really good together."
"Really." She asked.
"Yes." I answered and she smiled.
"So, are you nervous for the play?" She asked.
"A little."I admitted. "What if I mess up?" The play we were doing was Thursday through Saturday next week. Though I was getting used to being on stage more, it was still a tiny bit terrifying having so many people staring at me.
"You'll be fine." Raven told me.
"I hope so." I said as we reached the school.
"Here we are." She said. We got out of her truck and walked to our separate classes.
Bellamy P.O.V
I was walking to my first period when I heard someone calling my name. I turned and saw Roma.
"What do you want?" I asked harshly. I haven't talked to her or even so much as looked at her since a day or two before the masquerade ball.
"Nothing I just wanted to know if you want to come over tonight, my parents aren't home." She began to trail her finger down my chest. I caught her hand.
"No, now bye." I let her hand drop, and turned to walk away leaving her fuming.
I walked into class and saw Clarke was already there scribbling in her notebook. I walked towards her, then leaned down and tilted her chin up gently to kiss her.
"Hi Bellamy." She smiled when we pulled apart.
"Hi Princess." I smiled at her, and sat down behind her. She turned around in her chair to face me.
"Sorry about my mom yesterday, she's just being overly protective and irrational." She said.
I leaned closer to her." You don't need to apologize Princess, you did nothing wrong."
I kissed her once again. She smiled and turned back around as the teacher walked in. Our assignment today was to draw something from nature. As we worked on our assignments, I began to think of what I could give Clarke for her birthday and decided to give her my mother's necklace. My mother said to give it to someone I truly loved, and I truly loved Clarke. At lunch, Octavia seemed pretty distracted by something. I snapped my fingers in front of her face.
"O you in there?" I said, effectively pulling her out of her thoughts.
"What?" She asked.
"What are you thinking about?" I asked her.
"Nothing, actually I need to talk to Clarke real quick." She said. O stood and dragged Clarke with her. It looked like they were headed to the girls restroom.
"Do you guys know what that was about?" I asked turning towards the rest of them. Monty, Fox, and Raven shrugged. Miller, Murphy, and Miles, who had recently began to sit with us just shook there heads. Jasper though was strangely quiet.
"Jasper do you know what that was about?" I asked suspiciously.
He shook his head avoiding making eye contact with me."No."
I raised an eyebrow."You sure?"
"Yeah." He looked down at his food. I decided to drop it for now. I'd ask O at home, and if she didn't tell me I'd get Jasper to. Miller suggested that we have a party after the final play performance next week on Saturday.
"At your house?" I asked.
"Sure if you want." He responded," The last party we threw was at your house so it's my turn. My parents are going on some business trip next weekend anyways. You guys in?"
He turned asking the rest of them.
"Hell yeah." Raven answered as Fox said," Totally he parties you two throw are always epic." Murphy nodded, while Monty, Jasper, and Miles looked surprised.
"What's wrong with you three?" I asked.
"Um, we've never been invited to any of your parties before." Miles answered.
"So?" I asked.
"It's just that you're the King of the school, and we're still not used to you actually talking to us." Monty said.
"I've been hanging with you guys for more than two months." I said.
The three of them shrugged in unison which was kinda strange.
"Are you guys going to the party or not?" Murphy asked annoyed.
"Of course they're going." Fox said. Clarke and Octavia came back just as the bell rang to go to class. We stood up and I slung my arm around Clarke's shoulders as we walked to class. During Survival Skills we got a form for a week away in the wild. We would be given basic supplies and an emergency radio, other than that we would be alone in the forest. There would be no real chaperone, they would just drop us off at a relatively safe location. It was kinda like a really long camping trip, just with less supplies. We were given a permission form and a form where our parents and ourselves agreed that he school was not responsible for anything bad that happened. The trip was from the 23rd of November to the 3rd of December, ten days. In drama we were practicing for the play, I wasn't nervous at all, but Clarke seemed to be. After school I drove Clarke home. I kissed her goodbye and headed home. When I arrived home I took out my mother's necklace, it was a vintage heart necklace. Hopefully Clarke would like it.
A/N I'm back guys, I'm finally ungrounded :). Hope you liked the chapter, it was more of a filler for the next chapter. The necklace is on the first page.
