Wuxian dragged himself away from the wretched store, his own being in shambles. The encounter had completely torn down whatever progress he had made if he had made any. He wandered off, walking through any streets, crossing roads just as long as he could get away. The cold picked up causing people to huddle and pull their warm coats closer against it yet Wuxian could barely tell the difference. He didn't react at all even with his red nose running and his eyes blurry. Eventually, he began running because it felt like his irregular heart would claw its way out of his chest and he felt like he was actually going to die.

He crossed the bridge that he and Lan Zhan had stood on not long ago, passing those haunting memories of a happier and truer version of themselves. He was now full on crying, his viewpoint completely out of picture as he skidded past the rest of the normal people. His lungs burned with unshed tears and his head banged with unforgettable thoughts. Eventually, he couldn't go any further as he dejectedly fell to the ground, his legs giving out. People were taken aback at the rare sight as he crumbled onto the ground, their stares fixated on why a young boy like him was breaking down devastatingly in the open, in broad daylight!

Wuxian could care less at this point. There wasn't any damage that their looks could do at the state he was in. Hell, if they could start giving him money that would be better - he could then at least buy himself some hot cocoa and bread. He heaved out deeply as he let it all loose until he heard a shrill cry from afar.

"WUXIAN! WEI WUXIAN!" came the call all the way across the bridge. He thought it was an auditory mistake at first as he looked up only to hear it again. Shocked at the sudden turn of events, Wuxian rushed to his feet completely stunned as he collided with a full on raging Qin Su.

"Wei Wuxian!! Oh My God! It is really you!!!!!" shrieked the little girl as she embraced him fiercely in a strong hug. Wuxian lagged as he tried to comprehend what was happening while his body automatically responded. His arms came up receiving her back as his mind finally caught up and for a moment, he wasn't falling anymore.

"S-s-s - Su Ahh..... Qin Su - Su ahh," was all he could manage to say as they fully hugged. Fresh tears emerged as a million feelings bombarded him at once. He couldn't even try to make sense of it as they held each other but chose to just lean on her at the time. Her presence had come just when he had needed it.

"Wei Wuxian, what's wrong? Why are you crying?!" Qin Su voiced out, her heart breaking voice carrying through as she looked up to him, wiping his face with her sleeves. Her see through eyes were wide in genuine concern and worry especially for her brother Wei Wuxian.

"No....Nothing. Nothing Su ahh." Wuxian hoarsely whispered as he attempted a smile admist his breakdown. Classic Wuxian, always the bigger person. He didn't let her prod further as he closed the distance once again, hugging her close in a way as though he wanted, no, needed to transfer some of his pain into her and take some of her peace. Qin Su didn't say anything at the unusual encounter as she reciprocated just happy that they were together again coincidentally.

"Wei Wuxian, oh my, come let's go. Let's talk." Qin Su finally said as she dragged him along away from the public. Wuxian didn't have any energy left to resist so he simply let himself get carried off. His head was slowly buzzing, his eyes achy. It was like a miracle honestly that in the moment of despair, a friend; a dear friend had appeared  out of the blue..... Maybe it wasn't all that bad. Maybe, there was hope. The two went off to an open street tent eating house that was currently serving some hotpots and chicken stew; perfect for the weather. Qin Su removed her red knitted scarf, gently wrapping Wuxian up before going ahead to order for the both of them. They had a lot to talk about.

"OK, I've gotten everything we will need so, start talking Wei Wuxian and don't dare deny or hide anything because I will beat you in public if you do and won't regret it. Cooperate," warned the fiesty girl as she stared deep at Wuxian. Her words were not an empty threat nor did she intend for them to be but Wuxian couldn't help but chuckle at her cute, serious face amid her squished cheeks in her fatass winter jacket and crocheted Marvin. She was like an angry honey bun in the moment.
