CHAPTER 63: AN EYE FOR AN EYE PT1.

     Yunmeng City was the hotspot for all things classy, luxurious and lavish. Never once quiet, it was a city full of people across the world, flourishing in life being a gem far East with never ending engagements. It was the perfect place to hide away from the world and Wuxian had done just that. It hadn't been easy leaving, in fact it haunted him but he did what he thought was necessary. That meeting with Jin had opened his eyes to their truth. Their plan wasn't going to be enough to defeat Jin. They could gather as much evidence against him but still be unable to fully get him under; they couldn't use the law at all..... It wouldn't help so he left, left them all behind for a second time to venture out in a very dangerous journey. If he was going to fight fire with fire, he had to sacrifice it all to ensure noone else got burned especially his family. He shed off his last piece of his conscience and prepared to tap into his dark side. In order to take Jin down, he had to disarm him as much as possible and trap him as well. Cripple him until it was just the two of them standing and then end it all. If he had to go back to jail again or die in the process, so be it but he was tired of this circus play..... Fucking tired.

     He was already initiating the first parts of his plan by moving out and closing all of his businesses. He had to completely disappear so that he would go unnoticed when shit went down. Jiang Cheng had been more than welcoming; of course with some rules to it, to use his very expansive and extravagant home as a hideout and place to stay. Noone would think he was here and even if they did, they wouldn't dare come in search of him unless they wanted to face the ruthless wrath of Jiang Cheng for trespassing. It was more than perfect.

       Next, he had to get a crew. He couldn't do with legal power or frameworks so he had to get people of his kind, people who didn't mind doing dirty work and possibly paying for it. People with a morally dark compass, those kind of people...... And he knew exactly where to get them at least from whom.

     Lan Qiren had been more than surprised when Wuxian contacted him after his sudden disappearance. The move had completely disraughted the whole family who couldn't understand what he had left at all. At first he had thought of rejecting the whole thing but then thought twice about it. Something was up, he was sure of it, he wasn't that stupid nor overlooking. He could tell that he and his son were going through some things but hadn't said a word, adhering to Lan Zhan's warning until now. He would listen to what he had to say for the cause of disruption in his home.

    "Ahhh you're here. Greetings Uncle," Wuxian said as soon as he saw him inside......  Their little tea house of 17 years back...... Mmmh brought back memories. Lan Qiren refrained from answering, looking at him up and down. He just wanted to hear what he had to say.

   " Mmhh, seems like you aren't interested well let's cut to the chase then. I want to make a deal with you." he immediately put forward wasting no time.

     "A deal? Don't jest with me Wei Wuxian. What could you possibly have to cut a deal with me?" Qiren countered as he took a sip, he was intrigued now.

    "Ohh but I do Uncle. Look, you and I are business men here, I wouldn't take up your time or waste your presence for mere jokes. I already do that everyday for free. No, I'm here to make a contract with you with your heart's desires placed forefront. Here," he mentioned, handing the document over.

   Lan Qiren took it as he began to read. Wuxian made sure to outline all his wants and needs that he required in great detail as well as putting in the cutting clause between them. He was going all out.

    "Are you serious?" Lan Qiren asked as he finished. There was no way Wuxian was actually doing this..... No fucking way.

   "I swear Uncle," Wuxian replied, "As long as I get what I want, I will give you what you want. No games, no trickery at all." he put forward. There was no bullshitting this time.
