CHAPTER 70: A MOTHER'S PLEA

Qiren was in the phone discussing how the company was going to move forward when the doors were kicked open by a possibly very mad woman.

"How dare you Qiren!!! How fucking dare you, you bastard!!" Liu Feng cursed, throwing her phone and papers in his face.

"What is the meaning of this!!!?" Qiren yelled flabbergasted at her sudden attack. Never had he seen her like this before. He cut off the phone, looking back at her but things were just getting heated.

"I know that you have always been a cold, hard and distant man and I have put up with your degrading abuse and behavior for 17 years Qiren but never did I think that you would even think to do something so disgusting like this to your own children!!!! YOU FUCKING MONSTER!! DID YOU THINK I WOULDN'T FIND OUT?!! " she shrieked, tears streaking. She had married a mad man.

" Liu Feng..... Darling, just listen.... I was just.... " Qiren tried to state, realising what she was talking about.

" DON'T TELL ME TO FUCKING LISTEN LAN QIREN!! YOU HAVE LOST YOUR MIND IF YOU THINK THAT I WILL STAND BY...."

"MURDERER!!? YOU FOUL - MOUTHED WOMAN!" Qiren picked up, offended by her outrageous accusation.

"Call me whatever you like Qiren but that is exactly what you are!! You sicken me! I can't believe u married such a sadistic, sociopath like you!! I won't let you do this...."

"And what do you want me to do? It has been months now Feng!!!!! I am thinking about the good of the family as well as their welfare!! They too wouldn't want to be dragged on like this!!"

To point out what was happening, Liu Feng had just received news from her secretary and apparently Lan Qiren had been at the hospital a few days ago to discuss the potentiality of ending Lan Zhan's and Wuxian's treatment programme. Pull the plug and cut if the supply to let them go. Let them rest. It had been 9 months now since the incident and no changes at all. The 2 were stuck in that time frame, never moving like sleeping beauty while the rest of the world progressed. They had stagnated and Liu Feng was stuck there with them, unable to move.
