(Chara's POV)

I was, at first, shocked to see that Kris had made a Beyblade of parts that were merely welcome additions to a Blader's collection (at best) and collection-purposes-only parts (at worst). No must-have parts. His Bey, Hollow Wyvern 1Lift High Zephyr 4A, was a severely lopsided Attack Type, thanks to the Hollow Ring, the 1 Forge Disc, and the 4A Chassis. When I had gotten a closer look after that, I couldn't help but scoff. Of course, I thought. This is Kris we're talking about; of course he'd defy convention.

My Bey, Death Diabolos Wave' 1B, was a Balance Type, and I also happened to have the Abyss Ring. Although Death was Right-Spin, while Abyss was a Left-Spinning Ring, the Diabolos Superking Chip could be altered to go in both spin directions. I had expected to win easily against what I had believed to be a lame excuse for a Bey, but our 3-point match ended in Kris getting two back-to-back Bursts, which Frisk had commented was either proof of divine intervention, or witchcraft.

Now, here we were, watching a tag battle with our parents, and Asriel and Aria had won the first battle with their Beys, Perfect Phoenix and Dead Hades. Asgore had shouted encouragement, while Toriel remained calm.

I felt something rising within me, and I couldn't help but jump up and yelling, "Asriel! Aria! Blow them away! Show them true power!"

(Crystal's POV)

I picked up Zwei Longinus off the ground, and sighed.

"Longinus," I said aloud, "what am I going to do?"

Then... wait. Was Longinus... glowing white?

The next thing I knew, I found myself in an icy dreamscape world, floating in an ice-blue... whatever you call it. But that wasn't even the strangest part. The strangest part was that there was a white-scaled dragon in front of me. It had a spear-like tail, yellow eyes, and silver and gold parts on its body. I recognized that avatar from the Beyblade Burst anime!

"Longinus!" I said.

Yes, Longinus responded in a deep voice. It was as gentle as a snowfall, but I felt the power of a blizzard radiating from him, and yet I wasn't cold.

"How can we win this?" I asked. "I wanna be able to win this, but I'm new to this. And..." my voice trailed off. This was crazy.

How do you intend to win? Longinus asked. What is your strategy?

I thought about it. Then, it came to me. "I'm gonna go on the offensive," I said. "I'm going with Attack mode!"

Good strategy, Longinus responded. Give it all you've got, and rise up!

I woke up, and found myself in the arena I started in. I adjusted Longinus's Xtend+ driver to Attack mode, and attached it to my launcher.

"Second battle!" The referee called.

Asriel and Aria got ready to launch, as did Rin and I.

Let's mount a blitz attack! I told my brother telepathically. He looked at me and nodded.

"Ready? Set!"

"3! 2!1!" Everyone called.

"Let it... RIP!" All four of us launched our Beys at the same time.

"Red alert!" Mettaton called. "Longinus and L-Drago are going on the attack!"

"What could the Dracon twins be planning?" Hanami wondered.

"Take care of Phoenix!" Crystal called. "I'm going after Hades!"

"Got it!" Kirin called. "Lightning Spiral!"
