(Frisks's POV, morning of day 2)

I woke up this morning in the arms of Develyn.

I knew it, I thought. This wasn't a dream—he's really here!

Develyn's eyes opened. "Morning, Frisky," he said softly. "Sorry about the lack of shirt, but it was too hot at night to sleep with one on."

I chuckled softly, my fingers lacing around his. "That's alright," I said. "I wish this would never end."

Develyn sighed. "Sadly," he said with an apologetic smile, "I'm a morning person, so, up." With that, he got out of bed, forcing me to follow suit. Chara was already up, a fact confirmed by his empty bed, which was freshly made. We got dressed, Vel in our room and I in the bathroom.

Once done, entered into my other siblings' room, and there was Asriel in his bed, Kris on his trundle (for some reason, he decided on keeping it rather than getting another bed—I didn't ask why), and an empty cot. Develyn looked surprised to see that cot empty.

"I brought it for Nick," he said, "but where—"

Suddenly, he gasped after he turned to Aria's bed. There was Aria, of course, but that wasn't what stunned him. What stunned him was that Nick was under the covers, snuggling her!

Develyn was at a loss for words. For a while, nobody spoke. Then Aria yawned, her turquoise eyes fluttering open briefly, then they widened at the sight of me and Vel. She looked startled to see us.

"Th-this isn't what it looks like!" Aria exclaimed quietly.

Nick woke up, making sleepy grunting. He then turned to his uncle, and his eyes shot open as he sat bolt upright on the bed. He said something in Icelandic, which Vel responded to, also in Icelandic.

"I-is something wrong?" I asked.

Develyn shook his head. "Nick just had a bad dream," he said. "Aria asked him if he wanted to cuddle her for a bit, and Nick told me he fell right back to sleep as soon as he touched Aria's fur." He chuckled. "Either Aria has magic fur, or she's just that fluffy and soft."

Aria blushed at the comment. "I, um... I just wanted to make sure that Nick got a good night's sleep," she said.

I smiled at my goat sister. "You've always been the caring sweetheart of the family," I said.

"Besides," I said, "Nick and I are just friends."

Nick nodded in agreement. "Just friends," he repeated.

"Come on, all of you," he said. "Let's get dressed for the day. We've got a whole day planned."

(Kris's POV, afternoon of day 2)

"You never told me you were Dragonborn," I said.

Develyn had taken us to do some intensive training at Undyne's (with Tori and Gorey's permission) and was showing off some of his moves. He then explained that a he was a Dragonborn, someone who, according to lore, had a human body but the blood and SOUL of a dragon. Because of this, he was able to learn the Thu'um more quickly than others. The moves he showed off included Frost Breath, Chara's Crimson Blade, and Slow Time. It was actually quite impressive.

"My uncle's really cool, isn't he, Kris?" Nick asked. For the record, Nick asked what he should call me. Since I didn't know, I decided he could just call me Kris.

"Yes," I said. "He is." I sighed. "I wish my parents could see me now."

"You mean Mrs. and Mr. Dreemurr?" Nick asked.

"No," I said. "My birth parents. My mother died once I was born. Childbirth complications. My father, according to someone else, died of heartbreak 3 days later. My mom was a goat monster, my dad was a human. Mix those two and you get me." I showed off my hybridized nature, transforming from goat form into human form.
