(Aria's POV)

October came rolling around faster than I expected. The leaves on the trees were turning bright reds, oranges, and yellows, and some were falling off the branches onto the ground. The weather became cooler, necessitating warmer outfits.

But one thing about October stood out to me more than the weather or leaves. That thing was Halloween. On October 31st, children would dress up in various costumes and receive candy from various houses in their neighborhood.

Toriel, Asgore, Chara, Frisk, Asriel, and I were looking at various costumes at a store.

"Asriel?" I asked.

My brother turned to me. "Yes, Ari?"

"Does it seem wrong that humans stereotyped monsters while our kind was sealed underground?" I asked. "I mean, look at it! Humans have come up with vampires, werewolves, zombies, mummies, witches, and more. I can't really say the same about skeletons, because Sans and Papyrus, or ghosts, because Napstablook."

Asriel smiled kindly at me. "Humans have some pretty wild imaginations," he said. "They have a bad habit to fear what they don't understand. They've come up with evil 'monsters' based on their nightmares and fears, as well as superstitions about our race."

I scowled. "That's like saying flowers are evil because of Flowey."

Asriel laughed. "Look on the bright side, Sis. There are plenty of costumes not based on 'monsters.' You can dress up as, say, a pineapple, or a pixie, or Zelda from 'The Legend of Zelda.' There's plenty of choices."

"I thought Zelda was male, as well as the protagonist."

"You're thinking of Link," said Frisk. "Zelda's the princess of Hyrule."

"See anything you like?" Asked Toriel.

I looked around. There were some pretty good costumes, but none of them seemed to catch my eye.

"That's alright," Toriel said. "We could always come back later once you decide."

At that point, Asgore's phone rang. He picked it up.

"Hello?" He said. "Dr. Alphys? How have you been doing? What? You have something for us? Okay, we'll be by to pick it up in a few minutes. Thank you. Goodbye." He hung up.

"What is it?" Chara asked.

Asgore looked at us. "Alphys has something for us—specifically, for you kids. We should stop by to pick it up."

Toriel smiled. "Come on, children," she said. "We shouldn't keep her waiting."

==========

At Dr. Alphys's place, there were four suits which resembled four different incarnations of characters from the Transformers: Generation One cartoons. One of them closely resembled Optimus Prime, but didn't exactly look like him. I guessed that it was Ginrai from the Japanese Super-God Masterforce anime. Another suit resembled Elita-1–specifically, her incarnation in the Power of the Primes toyline, and she looked like she would transform into a jet. Yet another suit looked like Megatron—his incarnation in the War for Cybertron: Siege toyline. The final suit looked like Sixshot from the Japanese Headmasters anime. It looked fierce as I'll get out.

"What are these?" Chara asked.

Alphys smiled. "These are small-scale, fully convertible exosuits based off of Transformers characters from Generation One, both American and Japanese. Super Ginrai takes cues from his incarnations in the Masterforce anime, as well as his Takara Legends figure. Elita-1 is designed to resemble her Power of the Primes figure. Megatron is based off of his Siege figure, while Sixshot is based off of the Headmasters incarnation and his Takara Legends toy. They can convert into their alternate modes at a mere thought by using neurotransmitter helmets!" Alphys looked proud of herself.
