(Frisk's POV)

It had been a wonderful summertime for all of us. We had done so many things, including celebrating Asriel's 16th birthday, playing on his new Nintendo Switch with him, watching him train Aria, and helping him move on from his past as Flowey.

Now, summer vacation was over, and it was time to go back to school. We had done our back-to-school shopping trip and got what we needed, and now Toriel had just stopped at our school to let us off.

"I hope you have a wonderful day, my children," she said as we got out of the car.

"We will, Mom," Asriel replied.

"Bye, Azzy," Aria said from the back seat. "Bye, Frisk. Bye, Chara."

We waved goodbye to the two goats as Toriel drove off to drop Aria off at her school.

(Asriel's POV)

We were now at Ebbot Liberty High School, which was meant for both humans and monsters right from the start. We talked as we entered the building.

"What classes do you have first this morning?" I asked. "I have science."

"Math," Frisk said. "I don't mind math, as long as I can understand it."

"English. Just my luck," Chara grumbled.

"What's wrong with English?" Asked Frisk.

"I hate all the writing."

"We'd better get to class," I said.

We split up and went to our classes. Along the way I met a familiar, lizard-like monster. It was Susie.

Her hair covered her eyes, and she had a denim jacket and ripped jeans. It looked like she was eating something. As I got closer, I realized, with some shock, that she was munching on chalk.

"You really shouldn't be eating that," I said to Susie. "That's school property."

Susie gulped her mouthful of chalk. "So what if I was hungry?" She asked. "I was just having a light snack."

"Put the chalk down, please," I said, trying to be as nice as possible.

Susie strode over towards me and lifted me by my shirt collar, slamming me against the wall. I grunted from the impact.

"Listen to me, you little—" Susie started, but her words were cut off as a red glow enveloped her. She set me down and backed off.

"What the!?" She cried.

It was at that moment that I saw another monster who was more draconian in appearance. He had silver hair with two bright red streaks on either side, long horns poking out of his hair, black scales, a snout, a whiplike tail, clawed hands, two small fangs poking out of his mouth, and steel-grey eyes. And he didn't look happy.

"You really should treat our Prince with more respect," he said calmly.

I realized that his hands were surrounded by a red aura. He was the one who forced Susie to move away from me!

"What gives?" Susie asked.

"I'm pretty sure mutilation of a prince is considered a heinous crime," the draconian monster said. "And besides, he did have a point about the chalk."

"What are you gonna do about it?" Susie mocked. "Tattle on me like—"

Susie's features suddenly went slack. I looked at the dragon and saw that his steel-grey irises were now bright red.

"You will apologize to Asriel and treat him with respect, and apologize to the teacher whose chalk you're eating and promise never to do it again," he said. "And you will rethink your actions and your life."
