Honeymoon

(Frisk's POV)

I'd been waiting for this moment ever since Develyn and I got married. He'd rented out a cabin in Alaska where we would spend our honeymoon, during which time his things would be transferred to my family's mansion. Vanessa had already packed the things to be transferred to our room back home, and Omega had volunteered to decorate the room.

"I promise, I will make it suitable to your liking," the Dark Wolf had said.

"Right," Develyn replied. "I still don't feel like I can trust you after what you said at the wedding, as your intentions seem ill. Don't lay a finger on Frisk, or you shall feel the full force of my wrath."

Omega nodded curtly. "I wouldn't expect you to trust me. Death is cruel, Develyn, and favors no one. I—"

"Quit being an edgelord," Kirin interrupted. He'd come to say goodbye. "It's not a good look on you." He turned to me and Develyn. "Good luck to you both," he said. "I'll try not to do anything reckless while you're gone."

"I'll hold you to it," Crystal replied.

After we said our goodbyes, Vel and I got into Toriel's van and headed off to the airport.

The trip was a bit hazy, due to jet lag. I'd almost forgotten about how much I hated it.

"I can understand how you feel, Frisky," Develyn replied. "Jet lag's no fun for me, either. Once we get to the cabin, we can rest there for a little bit, just until it clears up."

I smiled at my husband. "Thank you, Vel," I said.

(Kris's POV)

I missed my cousin already. I needed something to get my mind off this feeling on loneliness. So, I turned to watching a meme compilation. However, not two minutes had passed when I felt Aria snuggling up against me.

"You miss them too, huh?" I asked her.

"Yeah, I do," Aria replied. "I want to be happy for them, I really do. Actually, I guess I am happy for them. At the same time, though, I miss not having them around."

I smiled at my little sister. "I know the feeling. But they told me they'd be back soon, and Frisk is generally honest. No doubt she misses us as well, but I'm sure she's having a good time with Develyn."

A meow interrupted my thoughts as Thunder came into my room. He jumped up onto the bed and then stepped onto Aria's head, purring.

"I wonder if Thunder's gonna realize I'm not the only good member of the Dreemurr family," Aria chuckled.

"Well, for now, he seems to enjoy your company," I replied. "I'm sure he'll be affectionate towards someone else soon."

No sooner had I said that than Thunder leapt onto my head.

"I guess I had that coming," I said as Aria laughed.

(Develyn's POV)

Once the jet lag cleared up and we felt well enough rested, I went up to Frisk to ask her something. Something I'd wanted to do for a while.

"Frisky?" I asked.

Frisk turned towards me. "Is something wrong, Vel?" She asked.

I blushed. "Well, it's just... I've been thinking about what Toriel had said at one point about being a grandmother... and I... well... honestly would like a hybrid heir? I mean, really, who wouldn't want to—?"

Frisk smiled at me, blushing as well. "Well, I have had some thoughts... Let's go to our room, then."

I nodded. "Alright. I'm ready."

(Noelle's POV)

While Frisk and Develyn were on their honeymoon, Asriel took it upon himself to teach me the basics on combat. Well, actually, it wasn't his idea originally; Kirin had talked him into it. Still, Asriel wasn't as reluctant now as he seemed to be initially.

"Now... defend!" Asriel called, sending a fireball my way. It was the fourth attempt at defense he'd gone through with me. The first three times, I got hit, ran away, and cowered to the ground, in that order. This time though, I kinda knew what to expect. I threw up an ice-crystal shaped barrier, blocking the attack with a shield of ice.

"Nice one!" Asriel called. "Keep it up!" He sent more fireballs my way, which I quickly blocked.

Kirin, who had been watching us, nodded thoughtfully. "A good start," he said. "Next time though, try to counterattack while your opponent's still vulnerable. Asriel, mind demonstrating?"

Before Asriel could answer, Kirin sent a few psionic blasts Asriel's way. Asriel blocked them by throwing up a star-shaped shield, then retaliated with Shocker Breaker. Kirin cried out in shock.

"Sorry!" Asriel said. "I should've gone a bit lighter."

"Nah, I understand. I've never been good at holding back myself," Kirin chuckled. "Now, Noelle, let me try." The black dragon monster fired off a series of psionic blasts. Thinking quickly, I raised up my icy shield, then, while Kirin was taking a breather, hit him with my Ice Shock spell. A small flurry of ice and snow hit Kirin, freezing him solid. I almost couldn't believe it!

"Kirin!?" I cried. Thankfully, Kirin drew on his inferno magic, heating up his body and melting his icy prison.

"You sure you're holding back?" He asked jokingly. "I thought I'd become a dragon popsicle!"

(Asriel's POV)

After a few days, Frisk and Develyn both returned. Both of them, had ended up crashing in their room, which had been built by Omega. Thankfully, he'd designed it according to their liking. A few days after that, though, both of them called us to the living room for an announcement.

"Frisky?" Develyn asked. "Show them."

Frisk held up a few photos that looked like... wait... were those ultrasound photos?

"Guys..." Frisk said, "...I'm expecting."

"You mean... I'm gonna be an uncle!" I hollered, whooping for joy. "I'm gonna be an uncle!"

Aria, Chara, and Kris couldn't help laughing. Toriel, meanwhile, was smiling radiantly.

"This is wonderful news," she said. "I'm going to have a grandchild!"

"Well, Frisk had better pick out some maternity clothes," Chara commented. Kris gave him a jab with his elbow to silence him.

I was just... I'd never thought I would come this far. My family was growing still more, and I would have a niece or nephew to call my own.
