(Toriel's POV)

It had been a wonderful 11 months since monsters had reached the surface, no longer trapped behind the magic Barrier, which Asriel had shattered. For so long, I thought my dear child was gone forever, doomed to be a SOULless flower for eternity. Now, I wasn't taking care of just Frisk on my own. Instead, I was back together with Asgore and, alongside him, taking care of Frisk, Chara, and Asriel. I still remembered how much I missed his smile, and his emerald-colored eyes, shining brighter than any gemstone. It was a wonderful feeling, knowing that the Dreemurr family was back together.

On top of that, as if having my family reunited wasn't enough, I was going to give birth to one more member. I was nine months pregnant, and the bun in the oven was nearly finished baking.

Asgore and I were getting ready to head to the hospital. The children, especially Asriel, helped us whenever possible.

"What's the baby going to be like?" Asriel kept asking.

I chuckled softly, placing a hand on my rounded belly. I then rubbed the fur on Asriel's head, saying, "I understand you're excited for your new sibling. Actually, I'm honestly a bit excited as well, but we have to be patient. Don't worry, it won't be too long."

Asgore smiled down at our son. "Your mother's right, son. Soon, you'll have a new brother or sister. Won't that be nice?"

Asriel nodded, smiling excitedly. "Of course it will! Promise me you'll call me when Mom gives birth. I wanna be the first to know!"

Asgore looked a bit surprised. "Excited, are we?" He asked.

"Pleeeease? Pretty please with snails on top?" Asriel's eyes in that moment just looked so big and adorable when he mentioned the snails on top.

Asgore chuckled. "Since you mentioned the snails on top..." he paused, pretending to think about it for a moment. "You'll be the first to know. Promise."

Asriel gave a whoop of joy, saying, "Thank you thank you thank you!"

All of us embraced our son. How could we not love Asriel, especially when he acts so adorable?

==========

Soon, we were finished packing.

"I've arranged for Sans, Papyrus, Alphys, and Undyne to take turns babysitting you three," I said. "Until we return, please be in your best behavior."

Chara snorted. "When were we not?"

Frisk stared at them. Chara gave a slightly guilty smile.

We embraced our children, kissing them goodbye, and headed to the hospital.

(Chara's POV)

"Uno," Frisk said, placing down another card—a yellow 8, to be exact.

Papyrus, Frisk, Asriel, and I were engaged in a heated round of Uno. Apparently, Frisk was pretty good at it.

"GOOD PLAY, FRISK!" Papyrus said. "BUT HERE'S MY BLUE ATTACK!" Papyrus placed down a Wild card, saying, "THE COLOR IS BLUE NOW! THAT'S MY ATTACK! NYEH HEH HEH!"

Asriel placed down a blue 2, and then it was my turn. I was losing to Frisk, and had five cards in my hand.

"Sorry, Frisk," I said, placing down the nightmare of those close to winning: the Wild Draw Four.

"Hey!" Frisk exclaimed. "You can only play that if you have no other cards!"

I smiled. "Are you challenging me?"

Frisk gritted their teeth. "You bet I am!"

I showed my hand to Frisk. I had a green Reverse, a green 4, a yellow 0, a red 3, and a yellow 7.

Frisk looked shocked. "Noooo!

"Yep," I said. According to the official Uno rules, one could only play a Wild Draw Four if there were no other options available to them. Anyone affected by a Wild Draw Four who suspected said card was played illegally could challenge the one who played it on them. If the one who played the Wild Draw Four had other options available, then they had to draw four instead. If the one who played the card really had no other options, then not only did the one affected by the Wild Draw Four have to draw the original four, but had to draw two more as a penalty.

That meant Frisk had to draw six cards. And just like that, their turn was over.

Papyrus played a Reverse card, and play went back to Frisk. They played a Skip card, thus nulling my ability to play.

"Crap!" I exclaimed. "Revenge?"

Frisk nodded.

Asriel played a Draw Two card, and said, "Uno!"

Papyrus drew two cards. We tried our best, but Asriel won in the end.

"Dang, Asriel!" Frisk said. "You're good!"

Asriel beamed with pride. "Shall we play Monopoly?"

(2 days later)

Puns. Just puns. (Sans was here.)

(Frisk's POV, 5 days later)

Toriel and Asgore had arrived with the new baby, a girl named Aria. Mom obviously named her. She just looked so cute, with her tiny snoot and adorable turquoise eyes. I even got to hold her at one point!

Goat Mom and Goat Dad were quite busy taking care of Aria, keeping her fed, entertaining her, and the like. Meanwhile, Asriel looked like something was bothering him.

"You OK?" I asked.

Asriel looked up at me, nodding. "I'm fine."

"You're not jealous, are you?" Chara asked.

Asriel didn't answer. He just watched Aria in her carrier.

(Asriel's POV, 1 month later)

I watched Aria sleep in her crib. I thought she looked so adorable. I only wished that I could explain my feelings to her.

Asgore came in. He tapped me on the shoulder. He smiled at me.

"Something got your goat?" He asked, smiling at his pun.

I smiled back at him. "A little," I said.

Asgore sighed. "Son, I understand if your mother and I have not been spending as much time with you as you would've liked. I'm especially busy with my royal duties. However, please understand that Aria is young, and needs others to take care of her. But through it all—"

"I know you'll always love me," I interrupted. "And I love Aria with all my heart. I just can't be jealous of her. There's more love in our family than ever before."

Asgore looked a bit surprised. "Jealousy wasn't the problem?"

I shook my head. "I have a request I'd like to make."

Asgore said, "What is it, son?"

My goat tail wagged excitedly. "I wanna help take care of Aria. It's what a big brother does, right? Besides, I love her completely."

Asgore smiled. "Of course you may, Asriel. I'm happy you made the request."

We hugged each other after that. Then I heard a giggle coming from Aria's crib.

Asgore looked over and said, "Look who's up and wanting her big brother."

I turned and saw Aria, wide awake, bouncing in her crib excitedly. I went over, and once I was near her, she reached up for me.

"Go on, Asriel," Asgore said. "She loves you."

I picked up Aria and held her. "Howdy, Aria," I said. "I hope we'll make lots of good memories together."

Aria responded by pulling on one of my ears.

"Ari, stop it!" I said, laughing.

Asgore laughed as well. "Ohoho! I knew she loved you!"

Deep in my SOUL, I knew that this was the beginning of a new friendship.
