(Kris's POV)

I walked into Toriel and Asgore's room, a lily of the valley in hand. I opened the door, crept in, placed the flower on the goat parents' nightstand, and whispered in his ear, "Merry Dadder's Day."

Goat Dad opened his eyes. "Good morning, Kris," he said, somewhat groggily. He then saw the flower. "Is that for me?"

"It's a lily of the valley," I said. "I got it for you for Father's Day."

This brought a smile to Asgore's face. "Thank you, son."

I nodded, then turned to leave. "I'll let you sleep." With that, I walked out, closing the door.

(Asgore's POV)

Toriel opened her lavender eyes. "Good morning, Gorey," she said. "Kris brought a gift?"

I nodded. "A flower. Lily of the valley, specifically."

Toriel nodded. "We should figure out a plan to celebrate you. Not as a king, but as a father."

"Thank you, Tori." I sat up, and then looked at my midsection. "Frankly, I feel like I should have trimmed down when we got back together." I remember when we first met, I had a more fit physique. As time went on, I had admittedly let myself go.

Tori chuckled, poking me in the gut. "But then I would have less of you to cuddle at night." I chuckled back at her, replying, "Maybe."

Both of us got out of bed and got dressed, with Toriel putting on a violet skirt with flower patterns and a shirt of a slightly darker shade of purple. I ended up donning a pair of khaki shorts and a pink "Mr. Dad Guy" shirt.

"Well, at least you wore an occasion-appropriate outfit," Tori said upon seeing my outfit.

Both of us headed downstairs for breakfast, where a visitor greeted us, one who I remembered with great fondness.

"Heya, Pops!" Undyne threw herself at me, hugging me tightly. I returned her embrace, remembering the dad-and-daughter bond we shared. "Happy Father's Day!" Undyne said, a huge grin plastered on her face. "I'mma spend this entire day with you!"

"That's very nice of you, Undyne," I said, ruffling her bright red hair playfully.

Toriel sniffed the air. "Oh, dear... is something burning?" She asked. Now that she mentioned it, I could smell smoke also. Then a timer beeped, though for all I know, it could've been a smoke alarm.

Undyne raced to the kitchen and returned a few seconds later, slamming a baking dish on the coffee table. In the dish were... I wasn't sure.

"I made these cinnamon rolls for you!" Undyne explained proudly. "I thought it'd be a nice treat!"

Toriel smiled wryly. "Well... I applaud your enthusiasm and effort in making this," she said, choosing her words carefully.

Before anyone else could speak, Undyne shoved a cinnamon roll into Asriel's mouth, saying, "You gotta taste this!"

"Azzy!" Aria cried.

Asriel made a face as he chewed the pastry, and I thought I could hear crunching. Given that they were utterly scorched, I shouldn't have been surprised. Asriel swallowed the cinnamon roll with some difficulty. He looked at Undyne, and gave her a forced smile. "It's... good?" He said, and then promptly collapsed.

(Asriel's POV)

Thankfully, Toriel made Undyne throw the rest of the charred bricks of cinnamon rolls out after I collapsed. After that, we just settled on getting some spider donuts from Muffet's bakery.

"How are you feeling, Azzy?" Chara asked.

"Well, I don't feel like I'm going to, um... toss my cookies anymore," I said. "So I'm feeling a lot better." I turned to Undyne. "Sorry about your cinnamon rolls being ruined, by the way."

"No worries, Asriel!" Undyne said. "I'll just do better next time!"

"Undyne, I think I should personally tutor you in cooking that doesn't involve blackened cinnamon rolls or burning houses down," Toriel said, giving her a stern look.

Everyone else laughed, and went back to eating our donuts.

Sorry this was short. Also, Undyne cannot cook to save her life.
