(Asriel's POV)

I still remembered when Aria and I first visited Dr. W.D. Gaster, the old Royal Scientist who had supposedly been shattered across time and space. He was pretty nice to us, and once we got back to the real world, we texted Sans and Papyrus about how much Gaster loved them (the Skelebros were actually Gaster's children) and told Frisk and Chara about meeting him.

It was a Saturday morning, meaning there was no school. Though the sun shone and the sky was a beautiful blue, the air was still chilly. Thankfully, I had a layer of fluffy fur to keep me warm during the winter months. We had just finished breakfast, which consisted of Jimmy Dean Pancake and Sausage on a Stick, scrambled eggs, and juice. I was helping Toriel wash the dishes while Frisk went upstairs. Thankfully, many hands made light work.

"Asriel!" I suddenly heard Frisk's voice calling me. I turned quickly around to face Frisk, who was standing in the doorway from the kitchen to the living room. "You've gotta see this!"

Toriel smiled. "Go ahead, Asriel," she said. "Go spend Tim with your sister."

I walked up towards Frisk, asking, "What is it?"

Frisk responded by grabbing my arm and pretty much dragging me upstairs. "You're not gonna believe this!" She said.

Before long, we were standing in front of a door that normally wasn't there. I gasped when I saw it.

"It can't be," I muttered.

On it was a message in Wingdings: ♦📬︎👎📬︎ ☝♋︎⬧︎⧫︎♏︎☼ The message translated as "W.D GASTER."

"This is the door that led to Dr. Gaster," I said, turning to Frisk. "What do you know about him?"

Frisk thought for a moment. "Well, he constructed the Core to power the Underground by harnessing geothermal energy, patented the Gaster Blaster laser cannon, and built the DT Extractor," she said. "He didn't do this for fame, but rather, to improve the lives of monsters. Even so, he was kind of reclusive. I heard he fell into the Core during mantinence, and was shattered across time and space due to the incident. It took Dad a long time to replace him, because the two were good friends."

I nodded. "Ready to meet Gaster?" I asked.

Frisk nodded. We opened the door and stepped inside the room.

(Frisk's POV)

The room was just as Asriel described it: Gray and somewhat misty. It didn't make the room scary, but it projected an air of mystery.

"Hello?" Asriel called. "Dr. Gaster? Are you there?"

Both of us made it into the large room where Azzy told me Gaster would be found. And sure enough, there he was. There were also a row of steel targets to train and several lab tables, each stocked with equipment.

Gaster turned to face us. He had a kind smile on his face, and the smile grew as he saw me and Asriel approaching.

"So the Prince arrives once more," the old scientist said. His voice was warm and gentle. "And with a human this time. Frisk Dreemurr, if I'm not mistaken?"

I nodded. "You're pretty much spot-on."

Gaster took my hand and shook it firmly. "I am delighted to make the acquaintance of monsters' beloved ambassador," he said. "You seem to know quite a bit about me, young lady."

I nodded again. "Most of it came from your followers, but some came from Asriel and Aria."

"Oh!" Asriel said. "I did what you asked of me after my first visit with you."
