ASRIEL DREEMURR PACED THE LIVING ROOM NERVOUSLY as he awaited the call. His adopted human siblings, Frisk and Chara, were playing Minecraft on their smartphones. He could tell they were just as excited and nervous as he was.

It had been 11 months since monsters were freed from their underground home/prison, thanks to Asriel. He still remembered his time spent as a SOULless flower, under the alias "Flowey." He had absorbed the SOULs of the six humans that had fallen underground before Frisk, as well as the SOULs of almost every monster underground, to become the absolute God of Hyperdeath. He had mistaken Frisk for his first sibling, Chara - both looked a lot alike, and both had red SOULs, symbolizing the trait of Determination - and planned to reset the timeline. Frisk managed to save their friends.

Below is a list of the monsters Frisk saved during their battle against Asriel:

-Toriel, the former Queen of monsters, and Asriel's mother, who had become the guardian of the Ruins, and the one who adopted Frisk as their own. She could really make a butterscotch-cinnamon pie!

-Asgore, the King, and Asriel's father, who had killed six humans in an attempt to free monsterkind, even though the death of humanity wasn't wasn't what he truly wanted.

-Sans, the somewhat lazy skeleton who liked telling bad puns (much to the annoyance of Papyrus, Sans' younger brother).

-Papyrus, the aspiring Royal Guardsman-in-training who liked making spaghetti (although he's terrible at it- last time Asriel ate some of it, it tried to "eat its way back up," as he put it).

-Undyne, the Royal Guard's Captain, who was known as "The Spear of Justice."

-Alphys, the somewhat eccentric Royal Scientist who first gave life to Asriel as a soulless flower during experiments with Determination, and the nerd who loved anime.

Afterward, Frisk managed to save Asriel, who realized that "Chara" was not Chara, but Frisk. Asriel used all the SOULs he had absorbed to destroy the barrier, and said goodbye to his new friend.

And then Chara appeared.

Asriel was shocked to see Chara, his first best friend, alive and well, who explained that they had followed Frisk around for a while. They apologized for being such a jerk to him, and, not wanting Asriel to turn back into Flowey, Chara split their SOUL and gave one half to Asriel.

The six main monsters - Toriel, Asgore, Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys - were glad to see Frisk, shocked to see Chara, and overjoyed to see Asriel - Prince of Monsters - all alive and well.

One month later, Asgore and Toriel sat down and talked things out. Tori forgave Asgore for all his mistakes, and the two agreed to start anew. One month after this, Toriel had a major suprise: She was pregnant. The Dreemurr family was going to have a new member.

"Asriel?" Frisk asked.

Asriel was startled out of his thoughts. "Sorry," he said.

"I know you're nervous about a new baby, but I'm sure you'll be a great big brother," Frisk said.

"Yeah," Chara replied. "It's not like he'll become the absolute lord of hyperdeath if something goes wrong, right?"

"Thanks," muttered Asriel. "I needed to be reminded of the whole 'God of Hyperdeath' spiel."

"You're welcome."

"Chara!" Frisk hissed. "He's still hurting from his past misdeeds."

"Sorry," Chara said.

"Anyway," Frisk said, "What gender do you think the baby will be? I hope it's another boy."

"Don't really care," Chara said, "Just as long as they're a good fighter."

"I hope it's a girl," Asriel said.

Chara and Frisk stared.

"I'm sorry," he said, "But seriously, we need a girl to balance things out - and, in case you don't remember, not even you two can tell what gender you are. Seriously, do either or both of you have an extra gender chromosome, making your gender type XXY? Alphys told me -"

The three of  them jumped when Asriel's smartphone rang. The caller I.D. said: Asgore Dreemurr.

Asriel took the call. "Hello," he said, "this is - What? REALLY? THANK YOU, DAD!! Love you too. Bye." He hung up.

"What-?" Frisk started, but when they saw Asriel, his green eyes were moist with tears of joy.

Asriel's voice was just above a whisper. "Just three words: It's a girl."

==========

Five days later, Toriel and Asgore arrived at home with the new baby.

Frisk and Chara gazed at her. "She's so cute," Frisk said.

Asriel looked at her - and his heart melted immediately. She looked like Toriel, but was so tiny, her turquoise eyes so adorable.

"What's her name?" Asriel wondered aloud.

Tori smiled. "Her name is Aria. Aria Dreemurr."

Aria reached out for Asriel. Asgore smiled. "Would you like to hold her?" he asked.

Asriel nodded, and took Aria in his gentle embrace. She cooed, and Asriel had to use all his willpower not to start crying.

"Welcome to the world, Aria," he said, as his new sister giggled. "Welcome."
