(Toriel's POV)

As I waited for Frisk, I became worried.

The last thing I remembered was that Flowey the Flower had taken the six human SOULS that Asgore had harvested. When we woke up, Flowey was gone and the Barrier was destroyed. Had Flowey really done something helpful?

I was waiting for Frisk along with Asgore, Sans, Papyrus, Alphys, and Undyne.

"IT'S GETTING HARD WATIING FOR FRISK!" Papyrus exclaimed.

"chill, bro. frisk is capable of handling themself," Sans replied. "when it comes to all beings, including skeletons, they've got backbone."

Papyrus screamed at Sans's pun. Ordinarily, I would've laughed, but I was too worried about my child.

Asgore went up next to me. "I hope that Frisk is alright," he said.

I stared him down. "Since when do you care about the life of a human child?" I wouldn't forget what he had done, declaring war in the first place.

"If that punk Frisk shows their face, I'll punch them for making us worried!" Undyne yelled fiercely.

"H-hey, what's that?" Alphys stuttered.

All of us looked. A figure was striding toward us.

I felt relieved at seeing them. "Frisk!" I called. "I was so worried—"

Undyne cut me off with, "They're not alone!" And she was right.

What appeared to be one figure split into three figures. Two of them were human, and the third was one I'd thought I'd never see again.

Frisk stood on the right of the trio. On the left was a human with a strong resemblance to Frisk, but had a green sweater with yellow stripes, brown pants, reddish-brown hair, and scarlet eyes. In the middle was a Boss Monster child. He wore the same sweater and pants as the red-eyed human, snow-white fur, and green eyes that shone like emeralds. What was more, he had a strong resemblance to me.

The young monster looked up at me and Asgore, and I looked back, my heart thumping.

"Mom? Dad?" The young boy asked.

I could barely speak as I said his name. "Asriel?" Asgore was too stunned to even whisper.

"Mom! Dad!" Asriel started racing over to me, his eyes welling up with tears.

"ASRIEL!!" I opened my arms to receive him, and I'll admit, tears were filling my eyes as well.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Asriel practically jumped into my waiting arms. Both of us were crying from the happiness of seeing each other again. I held my child tightly, and he held me closely.

"Asriel..." I said. I turned toward Asgore, and he seemed to be on the verge of tears as well; however, he managed to hold his back as the three of us hugged one another.

I was well aware of Papyrus asking, "DID ASGORE GO BACK IN TIME, CLONE HIMSELF, AND BRING THE CLONE BACK HERE?"

I released Asriel from my hug, and saw Frisk and the other human in the green and yellow shirt, who I realized was Chara, also alive and well.

"How?" Asgore asked. "How did you two come back?"

Asriel's face fell at the question. He was silent before saying, "I'll explain everything, but I can't guarantee you'll like it."

(Asriel's POV)

We went back to Asgore's home so I could tell everyone what happened to me. Asgore himself made some golden-flower tea for everyone. Once everyone had their tea, Chara and I told the story.
