Ansley's P.O.V.

"Hey, I have a question," Demi looked up at me and I gave her a questioning look to tell her to continue. "Do you have work on weekends?"

"No, I only work at the store for two hours from seven till nine and that's it for both Saturday and Sunday. Why?" I asked curiously.

"Well, my rehearsal starts tomorrow for my tour and if you're free, I was wondering if you wanted to come along to see what we do and how everything works before the crowd comes. You want to come?" she corked a smile as she tilted her head.

"Yeah, I don't think I have anything to do tomorrow. It sounds fun!" I smiled widely as I giggled.

"Yay!" she cheered adorably. "Can you be to my house at eight thirty tomorrow morning?"

"Yeah, I can. So I'll see you then?" I asked.

"See you then!" Her head tilted back as she laughed and her nose scrunched up.

Demi's P.O.V.

I was so glad Ansley could come to my first rehearsal for my world tour! I hoped she'd like it.

There was a knock at the door and I jogged down the stairs, beating my mom to the door. When I opened the door, Ansley stood there. She was wearing jeans, vans, and a pink shirt. Her hair was up in a ponytail and she looked gorgeous beyond compare.

"Hi," she smiled.

"Hey," I giggled before shouting. "Mom! Eddie! I'm going to rehearsal with Ansley! See y'all tonight!"

I grabbed my computer bag off the chair beside the front door and walked out with Ansley. I shut the door behind me and led Ansley to my new car. She sat in the passenger seat and I sat in the driver seat. After turning on the car and twisting the dial to turn down the music volume, the car sputtered away as we began to drive the thirty minute drive to the closest arena.

The car ride was quiet most of the way, but it was a comfortable silence, up until Really Don't Care started playing and both Ansley and I broke into song with our own choreography. I turned it up as it started the first chorus, then the second verse, second chorus, and when it got to the rap by Cher Lloyd, I turned it off as Ansley rapped the whole thing.

"Yeah. Listen up. Hey, hey, never look back, dumbstruck boy, ego intact, look, boy, why you so mad, second guessin, who shoulda hit that. Hey, Demi, you picked the wrong lover, shoulda picked that one, he's cuter than the other, I just wanna laugh 'cause you're tryn'a be a hipster, kick 'em to the curb, take a polaroid picture," she was in her own little world until she finished and I stared at her in awe while she blushed. "You turned it down! That wasn't fair!"

"You got the rap spot on, though, like, that was amazing! Where did you learn to rap like that?" I glanced over at her every so often.

"That's one of the only songs I can rap correctly without sounding like a total idiot," she giggled.

"You even had the British accent Cher had. I'm impressed!" I widened my eyes as she blushed.

"Well, thank you," she smiled down at her lap as the song finished.

Ansley's P.O.V.

I'd never been to a stage in an arena before, much less to a concert, and seeing it like this was amazing. Demi pushed the back door open and climbed a couple flights of stairs with me following behind her. Above us were pipes and wires, all black, the floor was black, the walls were dark gray, and people were rushing around. A girl wearing yoga pants, a tank top, her hair up in a ponytail, and a clipboard in her hands approached us with a smile.

"Demi. Good, you're here," she put her arm around Demi, which made me slightly jealous.

"Hey," Demi smiled at the girl as we continued to walk through the dark wherever it was that we were decorated with wires. "Where do they need me?"

"I had a few questions about where you wanted me to put the fog machines and such on the stage. You can go out there with your friend and pick out where you want them. I'll be there in a minute," the girl instructed.

Demi nodded and took my hand in hers, leading me through the dark area of wires. She stood behind me and moved my hands up to cover my eyes.

"Cover your eyes. I want to show you something," she pushed me into something that felt curtain-like. "You're gonna like this."

She walked me about thirty steps more and stopped me, her hands on my shoulders.

"Open."

I opened my eyes, my hands falling to my sides, and my jaw dropped, hanging open. We were standing center stage and the stadium was empty. Twenty thousand seats formed a C shape around the stage. Up above were more wires and big lights that would be insanely bright if they were on.

"Oh my god," my mouth was still hanging open.

She giggled a few feet behind me. "Might want to close your mouth before the flies get in."

God, I loved how she said that. She was so adorable. I just wanted so bad to kiss her smile. Wait what? I didn't just say that, did I?

"You're so cute," she laughed with her nose scrunched up again.

"Did you pick out the places, Demi?" the lady came up behind us.

"Oh, yeah. Right. Over here," she left me in the middle of the stage to show the lady where she wanted the machines.

"Gotcha," the lady nodded and wrote something down on her clipboard, then listened closely to the earpiece in her ear. "Your choreographer just arrived. He wanted to talk to you. He'll be here in a minute."

"Okay. Thanks," Demi pulled a water bottle out of her computer bag and sipped from it before returning it back to her bag.

The lady left back to backstage and I was left alone with Demi, which always made me nervous in a comfortable way.

The rest of the day was pretty awesome. I got to watch Demi learn a little bit of choreography and rehearse Warrior on the piano over and over again. Mike came to gather his other guitars and he was in and out in twenty minutes, scolding the lady in the yoga pants every chance he got. I assumed she was Demi's manager.

Demi drove us back to her house around five and I drove back to my apartment from there to get ready for work. Then, it all went downhill.
