When I finally muttered the courage to go back downstairs, they informed me that Hyunjin left the moment he walked downstairs. I sighed, sitting on the sofa, hugging my knees.

"Baby.." Soomi's warm hand found its way on my back, creating small circles. "I'm tired Soomi." I said, feeling all of their gazes on me. "I'm tired of bickering and fighting all the time."

"What happened?" she asked, visibly worried. "You fought because of me, didn't you?" but before I could've answered, Seungmin asked another question. I nodded, not wanting to say anything else.

"Why would you fight because of Seungmin?" Hannie asked, Seungmin motioning for all of them to sit down.

"He doesn't want her to be around me," he said. "At least not alone." If he knew that, then maybe he knew the reason why.

"Why?" I asked, wanting to find out what the hell is going on between the two of them. However, he didn't give me an answer, instead he looked down fidgeting with his fingers.

"If it's too hard for you-" I wanted to reassure him that he doesn't have to talk about it if he feels uncomfortable, "No." but he cut me off, gazing back at me.

"It's time for me to tell y'all. I can't hide it anymore, it doesn't feel right." he said, pointing at the fact that nobody knows anything.

"I used to," he started his explanation. "I used to date Hyunjin's sister." he said, causing Soomi to gasp, terror written on her face, and soon after on the rest of their faces too.

"Yeji? You,-" she spoke a girl name, probably the one Hyunjin's sister has.

"I was the one who drove the car we crashed in," he revealed the deep secret he had, my eyes widening even more when he finished the sentence. "Causing her to lose the baby and end up immobile."

After all the details he spoke later, turns out him and Yeji met two years ago, fell in love, dated and she ended up being pregnant while Seungmin was studying in his first year at the academy.

She immediately ran to the academy, not having the patience to wait for him to get home, and told him.

But what they didn't expect is for Hyunjin to overhear that conversation and make a scene.

Yeji felt disappointed in her brother, for not supporting her, even though she was an adult. Seungmin promised to marry her, after the baby was born, so they got engaged.

But it all ended tragically when one night the rain was pouring so much that they ended in a car crash.

The impact caused the 4 month pregnant Yeji to lose their baby, and for her to lose every possible sense in her legs, leaving her in the wheelchair for the rest of her life.

Hyunjin wanted to hate Seungmin, with his whole heart, but they were childhood friends, along with the rest of the guys.

So all he did, was take Yeji away, back to their parent's house, away from Seungmin, away from himself too.

That was the reason he didn't want Seungmin to make me company. Sure he hangs out with the group, that's fine, but alone, he hated that.

He thought of all the things that could happen to me, overthinking and causing his emotions to go wild.

He fought with me, out of concern, yet I had no idea.

I quietly sobbed, tears slowly turning into a waterfall which was falling out of my eyes. He was crying too, remembering his love, whom he lost due to his mistake of driving that night even though the news informed the citizen to stay inside because a storm was coming.
