"He was killed. Right in front of her eyes." my remark making Minho and Changbin spit out what they were drinking, Felix already knew, while the rest looked at me shocked and saddened.

"When she was 5, her brother, Riki, said he's leaving on a trip with his friends, but he never came back." Felix continued.

"Time passed, Y/n turned 8, and right on her birthday, on a stormy day just like this, he came back. But her happiness was cut short, as someone broke into their house while their parents left them alone. He killed Riki and Y/n witnessed all of it."

"That was the day her life turned upside down. She got sick, ending up in a hospital until she was 16. When she finally left the hospital, she tried to start her life all over again."

"For those 8 years, she had a heart transplant because of the sickness, right here in Seoul. The same time when we met her." I think this part of Y/n's past just killed every dime of happiness in these boys.

"I'm assuming, his death, made her parents go-" Jeongin wanted to say crazy, but he just stopped himself.

"Her brother' dream was to study fashion. And he did, while he was away. That's why they don't want her to do the same."

"They blame her for Riki' death, saying if only she wasn't born and had that birthday, their son would still be alive." I explained.

"At least she's cured now, even though other things are still lurking around her brain." Chan added. "We don't know that yet." I said.

"Her nightmares are becoming a little too intense, even for the new heart to handle."

They sat back down, looking more worried than before. "When she wakes up, she probably won't remember this incident, it's just.. what happens, so don't let it slip out of your mouth." I warned them in advance.

"We kind of have to depend on you to watch over her, since we can't really be around her all the time when school starts." Felix said, looking over at Hyunjin who was probably feeling a bit embarrassed right now.

"You're special," Chan smiled, patting his head and tucking one of his golden locks behind his ear. "I get why she chose you." he finished, making Hyunjin feel even more embarrassed than Felix did.

"I still don't get why me.." he mumbled. "Since I met her," I started talking this time.

"She carries more anger and pain than a thousand armies could ever bear. She was betrayed, deceived, hurt. Believe me when I say she has already crossed hell. And the only time I saw peace in her eyes was when she's with you. Even though you two do nothing else than fight all the time, you're the only reason she's still here."

Even though it was only for a second, I did see a little smile popping up on his face, before he returned his neutral expression.

It was 6am by the time we finished this entire conversation, so we slowly returned to our rooms to get changed out of our pajamas.

After I got ready someone knocked on the door and walked in even before I said 'come in', and of course it was Felix.

He walked over to me "I kind of need your help, with this.." he was talking about his tie, which he had no idea how to tie.

Even his hair was still a complete mess. I nodded slightly and he stepped closer so I could tie it perfectly.

When that was done, I reached up with my hands and started fixing his hair, before looking into the mirror that was on the closet door. "Perfect."

I commented, on my way to the door now, but he grabbed my shoulders pulling me back, and hugging my waist as he rested his chin on my shoulder.

"What do you see?" he asked me, placing me in front of the mirror. "Myself." I answered, confused by what he was implying at.

"Just yourself?" he asked acting offended. "Okay, I see you too and?" I said, waiting for him to finish so I could finally leave.

"Do you really not see?" Felix kept asking. "What?" I asked. "No you, not me, but us."

"Do you think those two will be okay?" he asked, as we stayed in that position for a while. "They can't pretend anymore, like it didn't mean anything to them. We were there. We saw the way they look at each other." I said, turning all serious.

"They both learned each others pasts, even though if it was from other people." I kept going. "Hopefully things will get better."

"He's a coward and he knows it. Y/n and him are something, they're it, they need to stop lying to themselves." he said.

~ Y/n' POV ~

..

I was currently being held hostage by my group of friends who decided to have a photoshoot on the blacony.

It was a nice idea, a little too cold for my taste, but I didn't sign up to watch Hwang the model, being all handsome and stuff.

"I'm done. Where do I find the nearest plastic surgeon?" I said, grabbing my phone to search for him.

"What nonsense are you blurting?" Changbin asked, trying to get Soomi out of her sleepy state. The girl has been falling asleep while standing.

"Have you seen him?" I pointed at Hyunjin in the photos. "He's not a model at all and yet if he stood next to the most handsome models, they would die of how handsome he is! While I.. I look like a potato."

"Quit the drama, we have work to do." Chan interrupted just in time, because the model finished, joining us, and Soomi was finally acting normal again.

Except, something was weird.

The small glances they all shared from time to time surely weren't normal, like before. Something happened, but I can't point my finger at it.
