Jaejoong was silent as he stared at the chessboard in front of him, his thoughts buzzing in his head like bees—or hornets, probably. He knew so far everything was good; he was a student at the same university as BIGBANG, and of course, Park Sandara was there—the target of almost every gang head in Asia as of this moment, thanks to a tip a spy of his he sent before. He thought those gangs were either too brave or crazy enough to try and infiltrate the main territory of the Black Elites . . .

He snorted. Like he wasn’t insane enough to play the game to overthrow the most powerful gangster in Asia, the Head of the Black Elites, G-Dragon.

His plan wasn’t the same as those other gang heads—to get Sandara, the possible Heiress, just to obtain all those fortune and power Park Ji Soo had, and reign over the current Black Elites. He couldn’t help but wonder how come they had concluded to that—she could’ve changed her name or ran away or already dead. Probably because some information about her they had on their hands just matches Park Ji Soo’s, or they had their own crazy theories again.

He smiled darkly to himself as he twisted a white glass pawn between his fingers. He had the information every gang head’s desperate to have . . . what the damn Black Elites want. That information can make him the most powerful gangster alive, more powerful than G-Dragon actually—that is if he decided to have Park’s fortune from the very start. But it isn’t. Sort of.

All he wanted was to avenge his gang for losing against BIGBANG—which scarred his ego—and exact revenge against G Dragon. But to get that, he must get the Heiress to his side, obtain whatever is left of Ji Soo’s arsenal, use it to carry out his revenge . . . and finally have everything he deserves.

He’s playing a deadly game, he knows that. Playing a chess game while being a Submissive to the Head of the Elites is not as easy as it looks like, but somehow he’d survived. He managed to keep all of his pawns and the rest of his chess pieces alive . . .

Now all he had to do is to trap the Dragon Emperor in a checkmate . . . with Sandara as his Pawn/Queen and him being the Black King.

Dong Youngbae

I sighed loudly, messing my already-mussed up hair for the millionth time as tips from the Shadows kept coming and coming. More Chinese and Japanese gangsters are already here in Seoul, prowling around in hopes of meeting the Heiress and kidnapping her for themselves. Not to mention that those gangsters are all under the Submissives . . . aish.

Submissives trying to dethrone us aren’t actually new to be honest, since it started happening since Day 01. Of course, they couldn’t overthrow us unless they would find a new source for their artillery or something like that. Probably that’s the main reason why they were all looking for the Heiress.

And of course, they couldn’t just risk their own lives. One mistake that will expose everything—they’ll lose their heads. Quite literally.

To be honest, our plan right now is still quite unclear—well, at least to the four of us. Our initial plan to have the wealth ourselves kind of evaporated ever since the arrival of the gangsters. We couldn’t risk another war; the last it had happened, Seoul City’s architecture and economy got crippled.

And lost loved ones . . .  I winced.

Right now, we are still ensuring Seoul’s ignorance towards our presence as well as its safety and keeping an eye on Sandara. It seemed to us she was the target, just because she’s the probable Heiress.

Probable Heiress. Could that even be possible? I couldn’t find anything that would connect her to that title.

My phone buzzed beside my laptop, and I quickly grabbed it. A text from Jiyong.
