Park Sandara
I suddenly woke up with a jolt, courtesy of my disturbing dream. I looked down, realizing the heavy weight on my legs, and met Jiyong's soft, dark eyes staring right at me.
"Good morning, butterfly," he said, his voice husky. "Did you sleep well?"
"I-I did," I answered, blinking. "You?"
He grinned, and for a moment, he suddenly looked his age—maybe even younger. "Oh, I did. Your legs do a good job for a pillow, you see."
"YAH!" I slapped his arm, and he laughed. He then sat up straighter and disentangled himself from the towels around his body, and he reached out to remove mine. He frowned.
"I guess you need a shower," he muttered. "You'll get sick. Don't worry, I'll cook food for us."
"What about you? And where are the four, by the way? I hadn't seen them last night."
"I'll shower after you're finished; oh, the four had to leave for a bit, since some of the Shadows alerted us of another, well, skirmish. Right now, stand up, and do as I say," he said as he rose up. I pouted, but I stood up anyways. It was difficult, though; my legs were numb.
"Sandara?" he asked gently. "What's wrong? Numb legs?"
I scowled. "Yes. And it's your entire fault."
He chuckled and suddenly, he swooped down and carried me in his arms, bridal style. I flushed in embarrassment as he walked towards the direction of the bathroom.
"Put me down!" I exclaimed, unable to smother my giggles.
"Um, nope," he grinned mischievously as he opened the door. "Hmm, what if I just bathe you instead?"
My face turned beet red. "Jiyong!"
"Okay, then, when you're mine, I suppose," he muttered absentmindedly as he turned the shower on, and my heart thudded at his words.
He suddenly froze, as if realizing what he'd just said earlier. And if I wasn't mistaken . . . is he blushing?!
"D-Don't mind me, just shower," he muttered as he hastily put me down. I couldn't wipe off the stupidly wide grin on my face, though.
"Kekekekeke," I snickered, seeing his flustered face.
"Were you blushing~?" I teased, poking his pink cheek.
"I-I was not!" he vehemently denied, making a face as he put down the bowls. "Just eat, Sandara."
"Kekekeke," I really couldn't help giggling. Maybe because it was my first time seeing a Kwon Jiyong with pink cheeks, or . . . maybe because I just felt giddy hearing his words earlier, moments before I showered.
"Quit that thinking, will you?" he muttered as he sat, still scowling. "Eat up—TOP-hyung and Taeyang are dropping by later."
"What for?"
He glared at me, his eyes accusatory. "Those files on your flash drive. Where on earth did you get them!? Don't you know it's simply dangerous to have one, especially now that you're being chased by God knows how many—!?"
"Shh," I put a finger over his lips. "Okay, okay, I'll eat. I'll explain later, now you calm down."
He blinked, surprised by my sudden action, and he smiled tenderly. "Okay," he acquiesced. I put my finger down, but he quickly caught my wrist with his hand. His fingers slowly crept to join with mine, his eyes never leaving my face. He just kept on staring at me, his orbs growing serious by the second. I couldn't move—or speak. We were caught in a fragile, spellbound moment, as if one word would simply shatter it. He slowly inched our entwined hands towards me, and with his hand, he stroked my face gently, a smile hinting on his lips. Heat coursed through my skin where he touched, making his smile now obvious.
"Sandara," he breathed, his eyes glowing.
"Hmm?" I could only whisper, too caught up with the spell.
"Hey guys—WHOOPS!" A deep, booming voice broke the private bubble where we were both wrapped.
"What was it—OH!" another gasped, and then we both heard a thud. Jiyong quickly broke his gaze with mine, and he glared darkly at the newcomers.
"Aren't you two a tad early?" he growled, making the two jump.
"But you said that—mmph!" TOP tried to reason out, but Taeyang clamped a hand over his mouth.
"Uh, sorry Ji. I guess we disturbed you . . ." he scratched his nape in embarrassment.
"You did," Jiyong snapped, his gaze now glacial. TOP and Taeyang seemed to be quite scared of him, but I could see a hint of amusement in their eyes.
"Sorry, dude, okay? Aish, don't go Charizard on me," TOP frowned. "Aren't you even going to invite us for breakfast? We're both starved."
"Go starve," he snarled, frowning as he started digging on his food.
"WHAAAT?!" TOP and Taeyang exclaimed.
I bit my lip, trying to smother my giggles. "Ji, you better invite them. Imagine, they traveled this far for us, you know."
"I don't care," he muttered petulantly.
"JIYONGGG!" the two whined.
Using the only weapon I could only think of, I held his hand and looked straight in his eyes. "Please?" I asked, puffing my cheeks.
He stared at me, as if dazzled, and then he sighed. "Fine," he huffed. "But don't you dare touch any steak, you hear?"
"YAAAAY!" the two cheered as they made a dash for the dining room. "Thank you, Dara-ya!"
"SHUT UP!" Jiyong's phone then rang, and he grabbed it as he stood up. "Don't you dare touch those steaks, I'm telling you."
"What-e-ver~" TOP said, rolling his eyes.
As soon as Jiyong was outside, the three of us burst out laughing.
"Aigoo, he's such a kid," Taeyang said between paroxysms of laughter.
"Just got mad because of that? That was hilarious. If Daesung or Seungri ever hears of this, they'll be laughing 'till the next century," TOP shook his head.
"Or until they breathe their last, you mean—yours included," Taeyang grinned.
"Hey, what did you find so funny, Dara? You were trying to stop your giggling earlier," TOP queried.
"N-nothing," I choked out, biting down a giggle. "I-it's just that . . ."
"Mwhut?"
"He's so cute whenever he acts like a child," I said absentmindedly as I picked on my kimchi.
"Really, butterfly?" a voice broke through, and I blushed furiously. OTTOKAE!?!!
"So, should I always act like a child in front of you then?" he added, grinning teasingly as he stared at me.
"Y-YAH!" I slapped his arm. "T-that's not what I meant!"
His face fell slightly. "I see," he mumbled as he took a seat, pouting.
My jaw dropped, the situation finally sinking in my head. W-w-w—
WHAT THE HECK!? IS THIS REALLY JIYONG!??
TOP and Taeyang gave me a 'you-better-do-something-before-he-cries-like-a-baby' look, but they couldn't hide the laughter in their twinkling eyes.
[ A/N: Advance Merry Christmas everyone! Consider this as my advance gift since I don't think I'll be able to update during the holidays anyway. And I am sorry for not updating for too long--student duties >u<
Omo, why is Jiyong acting like a kid?! Kekeke, I think I can imagine him pouting like a kid. *u* Anyway, how are you everyone? ^__^
