[A/N: Just in case you guys forgot, the setting is still back at GD's island, specifically the rest house.]
Park Sandara
I suddenly woke up from a rather disturbing dream, jolting my body. There were guns, dashing cars, blood, corpses . . . okay, that was freaky.
I sighed, remembering what happened earlier. In the end, I chickened out. I'd convinced myself over and over that I wasn't ready to face Jiyong yet, but deep down I knew I was too afraid to know between me and Jiyong.
. . . and it's very obvious in our eyes that he has feelings for you—feelings that put him quite into a turmoil . . .
Really? It sounded ridiculous to me.
I sat down by the glass door, opening it slightly. Omma, Sanghyun, CL, Bommie . . . were they okay? Did the Shadows take them safely somewhere?
Seungri, Daesung, Taeyang, TOP . . . Jiyong. Why are they protecting me, anyway? Is Jiyong doing this because I am the Heiress, and the four are just going along with him? Or because he . . . I laughed humorlessly. No, that's impossible.
I hugged my knees, feeling the cold breeze. In spite of all my worries about me and Jiyong, the gnawing feeling from my dream still kind of haunted me. It feels like . . . the worst is about to come soon.
I rose up and fired up TOP's laptop. He let me use it, anyway.
I have to at least know something more about his underground world, about my father . . . about me. Well, that's at least what Ji Hyun texted me two days ago.
Know more about yourself, unnie. It will save you one day. Ji Hyun. :)

My phone suddenly buzzed, distracting me. I fluttered my eyelids open, realizing I'd fallen asleep. What time is it already? And where's TOP and the rest?
I answered the phone, thinking it was Jiyong. "Hello?"
[Why hello there, Park Sandara.] A familiar cold voice made the hair on my skin rise from apprehension.
"J-Jaejoong?"
[Oh no. Yoochun. I am Kim Jaejoong's second-in-command.]
"Yoochun?" A vague memory of Jaejoong calling a certain man Yoochun flitted on my mind.
[Hello again, Miss Park. Or should I say, Heiress.]
A shiver ran down through me. How did he know?! Jaejoong must have told him.
"What . . . what do you want?" I asked, my voice shaking a little. "And how did you get my phone number?"
[Ah, Heiress. Do not be afraid. I only want you—I mean, my master and I want you.] He crooned, a deadly edge on his voice.
"Why?"
[Because of your wealth and power, what else?] I could almost hear him rolling his eyes. [But getting those would be impossible without you.]
"I won't let you have them," I said firmly.
[Oh?] He chuckled. [You should never have said that, Heiress.]
I narrowed my eyes. "What do you mean?"
[As of the moment, Sir Jaejoong and I have acquired the trust of gangs from Shanghai and some Yakuza groups stationed in Kyoto. We have an enough army to obliterate the current Black Elites and their underlings. In fact, some of our men managed to get inside the lair of those Elites.]
