After Katrina finished telling them the whole story, they were all shocked and the oldest three members of the family started regretting not letting Varun explain and jumping to conclusions.

"So you're telling me that what Varun was trying to explain to me that day was all true, and I thought he way lying?" Deepika spoke up after a while of total silence.

"Yeah, sis, exactly. Varun wasn't lying to you." Katrina nodded, a look of disappointment on her face.

"Why didn't you come to me along with Jacqueline and the guys then, and told me the whole story?" Deepika questioned.

"I told you Varun didn't want us to, you didn't believe him and he's your brother. You wouldn't believe us either, thinking that we're defending him because that's what friends do." Katrina replied, upset.

"Now where's Varun?" Madhuri asked.

"I don't know, and even if I did know, I wouldn't tell you guys." Katrina scoffed.

"Katrina, we all know that's a lie. There's no way Varun would go somewhere without you knowing about it. So just tell us where he is." Salman told his daughter.

"He doesn't want anyone to know where he is, especially you guys. So don't try and ask anyone about his whereabouts." Katrina shrugged her shoulders.

"Okay then, if you don't want to tell us, we'll find on our own." Salman nodded.

"Suit yourselves." Katrina said before turning around and heading to her bedroom, upstairs.

While in her room, she sent a message to Varun telling him everything that happened and that they were asking about where he was and didn't seem like they'd stop any time soon.

hen Varun got the message, him and Alia were back at the hotel, wearing their pj's and cuddling on the bed, watching TV.

Varun grabbed his phone and when he read the message, he showed the phone to Alia to read it too.

"You think they'll figure it out?" Alia asked him after she was dons reading the message.

"Probably," Varun shrugged, "Anyways, let's enjoy the moment and forget about them." He smiled at her and she smiled back as he nuzzled his nose with hers.

"By the way, since you've been very honest with me today about how you gave that guy a lesson and that's why he had left school and all, i want to say something too." Alia started and Varun looked at her with furrowed eyebrows.

"What is it?" He enquired, scared at what that could be.

"It's just the fact that when you had told me back then that you were moving to the UK for college and I told you I was moving to the US. Well, I just said that because I didn't want you to feel bad for leaving me behind as if you're the only one leaving. So I made that up at that same moment even though I never really thought about going abroad. And until after I went home, I talked to my parents about it and convinced them with the idea. What I want to say is, that was never really my plan." Alia shrugged.

"Alia, why would you do that?" Varun scolded, "You got away from my family just so I wouldn't feel bad about leaving you? Why?"

"Because I loved you, and I thought that maybe me moving somewhere else as well would make you feel less guilty and bad about leaving me behind because technically you weren't, I was moving too so, yeah. And I just figured it'd be easier for me since I'd be reminded of you everywhere I'd go if I had to stay in India. So it was a win-win." Alia explained.
