Y/n's pov.  

" I can't exactly take it off, but I can loosen the tightness a little bit to make you comfortable " I said and Kawaii-chan just nibble on the yarn toy in her hand.

The tip of my pen has a lock pick but this shackle has a different type of locks in the inside which makes it difficult. I've been messing around with the gears and so far I've gotten it loose by a centimeter.

I turn my pen and we hear three clicks, I put down my pen then pull the shackle as it extended three more centimeters. Kawaii-chan finally let out an exhale as she manages to breath properly.

" There, better? " I asked, she nods and bite the yarn letting the ball hang down her mouth.

Her hands grab her tail and I sit here awkwardly when she starts to lick the tip of it, her tongue sticks to the fur as her eyes averted to me.

" You'll get hairballs " I said, she continues to lick them and I chuckle then pick up my pen.

I put them back in between my cleavage and lean back against the wall as she does her thing. We've been here over three hours already and four hours since The Vipers took over our base, I'm worried on how they're treating the other people around here.

Not long enough we're both startled by the sound of the door unlocking and Kc goes around behind me dropping her yarn.

The door opens when I'm confused to see a guy with brunette hair and light blue eyes standing there with a rifle gun in his arm.

" Ethan-senpai " Kc peeks over my shoulder.

" What does he want this time? " I asked.

He suddenly enters and the door closes behind him, he approaches and I can feel Kawaii-chan holding onto my arm tightly. We both went confused to when he kneels down and place his rifle on the floor.

" I don't have much time but this is all I can get for you, Amber told me this can help wear off the elixir he gave you " he takes off the sling bag off his shoulder.

He passes me an insulin pen and I was taken aback to when he took out my collar.

" Why are you doing this? " I asked, he closes the bag and have it over his shoulder again.

He looks at me with a shrug.

" Amber's my sister " I see he has already place down some candy bars for us.

" Ethan-senpai " Kawaii-chan looks at him with her sympathetic eyes.

" It's okay Kc, I'm sick of him too " he hugs her as she hugs back.

They pulls apart.

" We have shifts every 45 minutes, tonight at eight, Travis is planning to have a creepy weird dinner with you all and I already got to the Ryder and Calvin, I'm heading to Laurence now " he picks up his rifle then walk away.

" Wait! " He turns to me in question.

" Our friend Garroth, I haven't seen him at all, where is he? " I asked.

" I'm sorry, I don't know who that is " he said then leave the room as the door shuts and I hear it lock.

I look at Kc who's already munching on one of the candy bars, she smiles as she eats, I shake my head.

" Let's hope we can end this early "
