Y/n's pov.

" Laurence I can't! " I clung onto him as we float deeper into this lake.

" You'll be fine, just hold onto me " he said.

I feel his arms around my waist and he keeps going deeper in the lake, luckily there's a few rocks here and he swims towards one, I hold onto one as I keep looking away.

" Easy " he said, I shake my head.

" It's not easy " I said as I keep my legs around his waist.

I was startled when he lowers me into the water, he chuckles.

" Your okay " he said and make me lean against this rock.

I feel my feet touching the rock under the water and Laurence loosens his grip a little.

" I'm not okay, I'm just. . . .waiting something to grab my leg and pull me down for me to drown, or something big come up and swallow me whole " I said and hold in the weep but the tears stream down.

" Hey, look at me " he turns my face and make me look at him.

He wipes my tears.

" I have an idea "

" I don't like your idea " I said, he chuckles.

" You didn't let me explain " he said.

" Get on with it " I grip onto his shoulder tightly.

" Do you trust me? " He asked, I look at him with my teary eyes.

" Just trust me " he moves his arms and hold my waist instead of around it.

" What are you doing? " I asked.

" Trust me, just submerged yourself for a few seconds, I'll hold you, don't worry " he said.

" What if I open my eyes and a monster just swim towards me and bite my head off " I said.

" Then don't open your eyes " he said, I scoff and I take a deep breath.

" Go in with me " I said, he nodded.

" Alright, ready? " He asked, I shake my head and he chuckles again.

" Hold your breath " he said.

I hold onto the rock and the other on his shoulder while both his hands are on my waist, slowly we sink down and he goes in first, I lift my chin to avoid the water until it reaches my nose. I hold my breath and the cold water hits my face, I feel his hands still holding me while I tightly close my eyes.

Few seconds submerged, I felt his hand on my waist start to lift me and I gasp for air while moving my hair out if my face and wipe the water off, I open my eyes to look up at the sky to see there's many stars here, I look down at him and see the water dripping off his face.

" Feeling better? " He asked and I hold onto the rock as he lower me a little, making me his level.

" What's your past with Fleur? " I asked.

" Can we not talk about that?, I just want to be with you " he leans in closer and I lower my head as I keep holding onto him.

" But I want to know " I said.

That didn't stop him from leaning down and kiss my neck, I squeeze his biceps when he finds the spot so quick, he let go quickly and go up next to my ear.

" Your body is still hot " he whispers.

" What do you expect?, Fleur walked in right before we. . .uhh we. . . " I just let that hang and he looks at me with a smirk.
