" Your hopeless " I turn around to Laurence and as I sit here on my skateboard.

" I'm sorry Laurence, but the last time I check, my legs just spiral from earth to hell four hours ago! " I exclaim, clenching my fist while breathing heavily.

" And steaming " he approaches.

" It will take some time for the soul to come back to my foot and if your still confused to why this is happening, name it traumatization! " I punch his shoulder and he chuckles.

" Okay, I won't joke about it again, though I'm your "assistant forever", how can I help you? " He gesture his hands to me and I cross my arms.

" How do I know you will listen to me? " I asked.

" I washed your laundry and polish your shoes as promise " he said.

" That is because you want to make up to me " I said.

" I carried you back from the ship "

" My reason was my legs were unstable, because you forced me to get on the yacht " I smile, he awkwardly laughs then just hum scratching the back of his head.

" But it doesn't matter, the past is in the past, I'll get over it, now help me to get to the lab " I have his hand on my shoulders.

" Yes ma'am " he starts to push me and my skateboard was light enough for him to push me.

It was silence as he push me down this hallway, since I'm wearing an off shoulder shirt, his warm hands are on my skin and I couldn't help myself to sit here with my face warming up. My hands gripping the edge of my skateboard to his touch, it's somehow comforting and I don't want him to take them off, but the important thing is right now is,

" You really have a thing for hybrids " he said, I snap out of my thoughts and hum in response.

" Listen, I know I grew up in the Solvereign and prefer luxurious stuff, but you have to know my brothers and I are trying to adapt to the real life, even eight years alone is not enough for us to learn anything, we're basically still Solvereigns, we're hopeless without them " I said.

" Don't think that low of yourself, your not the first Solvereign we've bumped into who escaped, well most of them made it " he said, I sigh.

" Amber " I look up at him.

" What? " He asked.

" Amber, where did you guys find her?, Since she has a brother, I assume she went through something too " I said.

" It was years ago, going back two decades when we were kids, found her in a washed up and unconscious by the riverbank, where we were planting crops " he said.

" Out of nowhere? " I asked, he nods and we exit the building, going down a path to the town.

" When she woke up, she was panicking and confused, it took us a few tries to calm her down and realize she's deaf, she knew sign language and luckily my dad knows it too, they started communicating and she didn't really stick to explaining what happened " he said.

" Dad didn't push it further so we leave it at that until know, the hearing aids and voice box was made, soon enough we're all communicating with her " he said.

" I can't imagine being deaf your entire life, let alone being alone out there " I said.

" It's a universe full of surprises, we can't stop it from happening " he said, I scoff.
