" Thank you for this " Katelyn said and she takes my hand.

" Hey, us girls have to look out for each other " I said and hold her hand.

" You should've told me earlier, I can help you with the nausea " Amber said as she prepare the machine.

" Don't worry, first times are very painful, I'm not going to lie " Gina said as she sit down on the chair with Claire sleeping in her arms.

" Not really helping " Katelyn said.

" Sorry " she said.

" So what does this thing do? " I asked as I look at the machine.

" It's an ultrasound " Amber said.

" Ultra-what? " I asked.

" It helps to see your baby from the inside " Gina said.

" You shove that thing up your– "

" No! " I flinched when Amber looks at me, she them smiles.

" No, you do not shove it up there " she said.

" Thank God " Katelyn said.

" Don't worry, it's safe " Amber said and sit down on the wheel stool as she holds a contraption on her hand that looks like a remote control.

She picks up a bottle as Katelyn lift her shirt to show the bump on her stomach, Amber squirt some blue gel thing on her stomach then spread it around with the remote thing in her hand.

" You didn't tell me it was cold " Katelyn said as she squeeze my hand a little.

We all look up at the wall where the projector shines the image, there we see a fetus floating in there.

" And there it is " Amber said as she looks at the small monitor screen.

" Huh, the thing is smaller than I anticipated " I said.

" What did you expect? " Gina asked.

" I don't know, looking like an actual baby. . .but small " I said, she chuckles and Katelyn let go of my hand.

" What?, I never looked at an ultrasound before, I was in my mom's womb with my brothers, it's not like I could say hi " I said.

I see Gina rolls her eyes away and shake her head.

" Well, your thirteen weeks to be exact, we can find out the gender if you'd like " Amber turns to Katelyn.

" I can find out if it's a boy or girl now? " She asked, Amber nods.

" Tell me " she said.

Amber looks back at the screen and move the remote-thing around.

" It's a. . . . " She trails off and she keeps moving the remote.

" I'm betting girl- "

" Yes!. You owe me five dollars! " I turn to Katelyn and she looks at me in confusion.

" No? "

Gina just sit there holding her daughter.

" Okay. . . . "

" Sorry, I thought we were betting " I said.

" We're not " Katelyn said and I scratch the back of my head.

" . . . .I wanted five dollars but okay. . . . " I mutter.

" Congratulations, you made yourself a mini version of you " Gina smiles.
