TIME flies so fast, and today is my engagement day.

I don't know, but I'm feeling a bit sad.

Pag gising ko ay parang hindi ko maramdaman ang araw. Gulong gulo ako.

Aiden didn't say a word about this. He's just go with the flow. Hindi naman siya nag rereklamo pero hindi din siya gaano ka energetic, knowing that he love his tito brent, and he want us to get wed so he could call him a dad.

"Anak."

Napatingin ako kay tatay pagpasok niya sa kwarto. I was still sitting on my bed.

Malayo pa naman ang oras. The engagement will start at 5pm at 10am palang ngayon, so I decided to think about myself. I'm trying to figure out what I feel, because I'm lost.

"Tay." Nakangiting bati ko at sinalubong siya ng yakap.

"How do you feel?" He asked.

"I-i feel fine." Sagot ko at umuwpo ulit sa kama.

"Why are you here in your room, alone? Your nanay, and siblings are in the garden, harmony and lara is there as well." Sabi niya.

"I know dad. I just need some time for my.. self." Sabi ko at yumuko.

"I understand."

"Always think about your wants, alright? Tatay will give whatever you want, baby. Don't hesitate to tell me." Sabi niya.

I pouted. "I'm already 31, tay. It feels weird na if your babying me."

"What about it? Age doesn't matter and you don't look thirty-one if that's what you want to hear, anak." He chuckled.

"Tay..." I softy called. Smiling a bit.

"Does marriage really involved love?" Tanong ko sakanya.

"Ofcourse, anak. Sa lahat ng involve, yan ang hindi pwedeng mawala." Sabi niya. Tumango ako at niyakap siya ng patagilid.

"I love you, tay." I said.

"I love you, too. If you don't want this to continue, just tell me okay?" Sabi niya na halos ika gulat ko.

Napabitaw ako ng yakap sakanya at tinitigan siya.

"Tay, a-alam mo ba ang pinagsasabi mo? If I will stop this, it will cause a huge scandal!" Sabi ko.

Kumunot nalang ang noo niya. "I don't care, love. It's your decision that matters the most." Sabi niya.

He shifted from his seat. "Don't tell me that you're doing this because you don't—"

"No tay! I l-like brent!" Sabi ko. Napatigil siya sa pagsasalita at napatitig saakin. He stared like he's reading my mind.

Napayuko ako at nag-iwas ng tingin. I don't want him to feel anything about my situation right now. I can say that I'm completely f-fine. Just fine.

"Taking risk is not bad, right?" Tanong ni tatay. Dahan dahan akong tumango.

"So do accepting chances." Sabi niya at tinapik ako sa balikat. "Did you know that I'm happy and contented right now because of second chance?"

"Nagkaroon ako ng pagkakataong maging masaya dahil binigyan ako ng nanay mo ng pangalang pagkakataon." He said.

"I hurt your mother. It's the worse." Yumuko siya. "But she still gave me a second chance, even it's unforgivable."

Tumingin siya saakin at marahan na ngumiti.

"She said that she love me very much, and she knows me to well. She knows that I couldn't live without her." Ngumisi siya habang inaalala ang mga masasayang naranasan niya kay nanay.
