You were daydreaming in class once again, but today you had a new illusion. Judah Devoe. Specifically that time you were locked in a locker with him. It was so tight in there that your face was practically glued to his chest, his shirtless chest. Your face flushed at the thought of the events.
What made you even more red in the face was the night you had spent with him. You were both having the time of your lives in the hot tub at midnight. You had to admit, you had a massive crush on him. It wasn't just his looks either. Yeah sure, he had a fine body, but his heart was just as pure. This was proven when he helped you escape from Jace and Noah.
You were unsure of what they would’ve done to you if they would’ve gotten their hands on you. You’ve heard of how they left coach’s kid, Cameron was it? They would rip out his hair and you’ve heard that they’ve even put a person in the hospital. That could’ve been you on the occasion that Belladonna or Tyler got their hand on you, but no, Judah was there to help you, and you got a date out of it.
But what made your case of the daydreaming even worse was that Judah himself was sitting right before your eyes. Sometimes he could feel your intense glare or maybe he just wanted to look at you, and he met your gaze for at least a second before turning back to pay attention to Mr. Graves.
Ring.
Now you weren’t sure if you liked it when the bell rang for the end of the day anymore. On one hand school was over, but on the other you couldn’t stare at Judah anymore. And today you had agreed to meet with Keyon and Melody.
All three of you were worried about a friend who had gone missing a couple of months ago. Nothing had been heard of them, they were just gone without a trace. And Keyon’s consciousness was eating him alive. He was the last person to see them, before they disappeared from the face of the Earth. Melody was also going crazy. She had lost so many people and losing one of her friends was the key to getting Mel on a one way path to insanity.
That’s why you had agreed to help them. Even though you knew this friend and you were friends with them as well, you weren’t as attached to them. Yeah you were friends, close ones too, but their disappearance was enough to make you cry about it for a couple days, then you had a clear head. That’s why you were doing this, because out of all three of them, you were the only one with a clear head to think.
You had all agreed on meeting up after class, and start thinking about where they could be. Well that was the plan, but knowing Key and Mel they were both too paranoid to simply think. They’d probably start looking right after you said the first place where they would have disappeared.
You started to gather all of your things to head over to the exit. You were grateful that Mr. Graves hadn’t caught you daydreaming or else you would’ve had some consequences after class, and at this moment that was not needed. Or if he did, you were grateful he didn’t say anything, although you doubted it was that.
“Hey! Why the hurry? You don’t want to talk to me?” Judah chuckled, as you jumped in surprise. You were so focused on getting out of the Chemistry lab so that you could meet Key since he was the closest to the Chemistry lab, unlike Mel who was all the way across the school, that you were shocked that someone would speak to you.
You looked up at Judah and flashed him a smile. “I uh- no, of course not, but I uh- I’m kinda in a hurry to-”
“Can you hurry up? Come on, the faster we’re out of here the faster we can get ice cream.” Keyon was pouting at the door of the chemistry lab. You had all agreed on getting ice cream while you “worked” on finding out where they were. To be honest the reason Key probably offered that was because he knew he was better at searching than thinking, so licking an ice cream probably made him feel more useful.
