You walked in your stress of the day melted away as you were met with a flirtatious grin.
"Well good evening human." Greyson was laid across the couch on his side. He was shirtless as you were used to seeing him.
"Greyson," You greeted back. "Move over, I don't have the energy to deal with whatever you have in mind."
"Oh? Tough day?" Even though his smug expression was wiped from his face, the flirtatious tone was still detectable in his voice.
"Mhmm~" Your reply was muffled by the pillow you had smashed your head into.
"Oh there, there," Greyson patted your head. It was shocking how gentle he could be.
"Well I was going to propose going on a date or something outside, but considering your condition, I suppose it's better we stay in. Also I think it's a full moon tonight anyways."
You picked up your head from the pillow. "Grey, I don't exactly think it's ever safe to go outside when you could transform at any given moment. Besides, we kinda live in the Sparion Woods…. There's kinda a school nearby.”
"A school? Nearby? Is that why?" He whispered the last part, with a twinge of confusion.
"Is that why what?" Grey looked down.
"Greyson Belladonna. What did you do?"
"Hey! Why do you assume I did something. I didn't do anything." You rolled your eyes and put your head back down. You had too much of a headache to deal with this.
"But the kids from that school did.”
Your head shot up from the pillow. "What?!"
"Ummm, well the other day, this one girl, odd at that, and her I don't know friend, I suppose snuck into the house." He said sheepishly.
"And why didn't you do anything?! What did they do?" You stared freaking out about what they could've possibly done.
"Nothing bad, I wouldn't have allowed that. That's when I would've stepped in, but I couldn't risk them seeing me like…" He stopped mid explanation, but you instantly caught on to what he meant.
"You were turned?" You more stated, then asked.
He nodded. "Yes, but I had complete control over myself, trust me. But the girl and her companion, they just looked at things on the fridge, inspected some of the scratches I left when I first got here and -"
"Do you know what they saw on the fridge?" You asked sternly.
"No? Is that bad?"
"Yes, Greyson, this is bad. I have your medical bill on the fridge and other important documents. They could've gotten our information from that."
"Okay, but that's where the human system is flawed. Why do you have to pay because you got hurt?" You rolled your eyes, still seeing the danger that could've come with them, snooping over your personal information.
"Right. Even more importantly, did they see the chains?"
You could see Greyson's face instantly go pale. You felt your face drop.
"Greyson…" You felt like you were stuck in a small space. That was your biggest secret, if they found it, they could suspect something and possibly even report you.
"Shhhh~ it's okay, calm down. Everything is alright, I mean the police hasn't come knocking at our door yet. Here just relax." Greyson came up to you and started massaging your shoulders.
"Jesus, loosen up will you? Here, relax, everything's alright." You could feel every muscle loosen up under Greyson's touch.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said anything, especially when I know you're under so much stress. I wish I could help out, but all it takes is one mess up, or someone to make me mad and I'm busted. But I can help you relax once you are here." Grey rearranged the couch he was on.
