⚠️TW!! CUTS AND PILLS!!⚠️
Lucinda
"Ow!"
"Cindy!"
My unharmed hand immediately flew to the other. I had the worst luck when it came to glass. I had grabbed the hammer from the desk on the gym. Shortly after, I went all the way downstairs and broke the glass that contained the first extinguisher inside. I never understood why there was always class serving as a barrier, but now wasn't the time to question it. Georgie rushed to my side as I bandaged my hand up.
"I'm fine, Georgie...I'm fine," I reassured him as I stood up. I carefully made my way over the glass before grabbing the fire extinguisher from the red box that was on a small table. "Come on," I breathed as I led Georgie out of the closet. He was in a safe spot against the wall and away from the fire, along with Pony and Giraffy, who had just coke back down after dealing with the rat. I quickly walked up to the fire before taking a deep breath. My lungs were already in a bad condition, and smoke would only make it worse.
I turned on the fire extinguisher and put the fire out. Once the gas from the former disappeared, I turned to the others. "Go downstairs, now. I'll go get Mimi," I demanded before rushing up the stairs, not giving any of them a chance to reply. I ran up multiple flights until I reached the floor below the top one. I quickly jumped over the plants again and ran through the door. I could still hear Mimi's coughs and the roaring fire. I had to get there as fast as I could.
I ran around the corner and up to the fire. Without hesitating, I put it out with the fire extinguisher. Once the fire was gone, I quickly dropped the heavy fire extinguisher and rushed into Mimi's room. The mole was down on the ground, using her scarf to cover her nose. I let out a light gasp before dropping down to her side. "Mimi, are you okay?!" I asked as I patted her back. After a few minutes, Mimi had stopped coughing. "Phew....I'm alright now, Cindy. Thank you..." she replied.
"Can you...do something for me?" Mimi then asked. I was quick to nod my head in response to her question. The mole then pointed at a purple vault that's sat on her purple bed. "Do you...do you think you can help me find my key for this safe...?" She asked. "What's inside will help us get out if here...!" I turned to the safe. Normally, I would be furious inside to see one, but this was to keep some of Mimi's tools away from the younger ones, myself included.
"Don't worry Mimi, I'll find the key," I reassured Mimi. "Just stay here, alright?" After asking her that question, I quickly stood up and ran out of the room. I needed to find the purple key as soon as I could. I remembered seeing it sitting on a shelf in the closet on the top floor, so I ran out of the door next to the elevator and made my way up the stairs to the top floor. Once I reached the closet, I was relieved to see the purple key inside. I couldn't remember the last time I had things this easy. I grabbed the purple key and ran out of the closet right as the rat came up the stairs.
I ran to the center of the railing before jumping over it and landing on the platform below on my feet. I could tell that the cyborg was starting to get annoyed with me as I ran down the stairs and slammed the door on the other side on it. I slid through the vent that went into Pony's room, went out the door and ran into Mimi's room. She seemed to be okay considering the fact that she was standing on her feet. I quickly tossed her the key.
Mimi caught it and turned around to unlock the vault behind her. Inside was a blowtorch that Mimi used every now and then. Mimi's expression brightened as she took the blowtorch out of the vault. "Awesome!" She cheered before she turned to me. "I hope what I can do is enough to pay you back for saving me!" Shortly after, Mimi left the room, leaving me to assume that she was going downstairs. I left the room shortly after and ran out of the door Mimi had just left from.
