Lucinda

I had no choice but to take a giant leap into the darkness below.

After TIO revealed what I assumed to be his true form, I had been teleported into an extremely long hallway that had different parts of the alleys, ship, docks, temple and camp. Unfortunately, the most infuriating parts of those places were there. I had been forced to solve the puzzles I hated the most while being chased by TIO. After I had unlocked the camp door, I was met with stairs going downwards into the darkness. They ended sooner than I thought, and with TIO behind me, I was forced to jump.

That was how I landed in a hallway filled with stone bricks.

"Remember what Pony said," I reminded myself underneath my breath. Earlier, when I was still solving puzzles in that hallway, Pony's voice had somehow made its way into my head. "Cindy, Georgie, Zee... Can you hear me? That thing brought us to our memories!" He had yelled. "It's using our mind against us. What you see now isn't real... resist it!" Right. Even though all of this felt real, it was the complete opposite. "This is all inside my head. Remember that."

I got up from my position after my three point landing and began to walk further down the hall. In addition to the old and mossy stone bricks, there were also bright torches scattered about. The familiar black and orange eye seemed to cover every tile on the floor aswell. By now, I had already put my flashlight away and replaced it with Rose's gun, just to be on the safe side. Something could pop out at me at any given moment, after all. After walking around a few turns and noticing a lot of benches filled with different items, which I decided to leave behind for the sake of finding them later when I needed them, I came across a door.

What sat on the other side was all too familiar.

My eye widened at the sight of the room Zee and Zuzy used to share back at the Safe Place, way before The Silver Paw barged in and tore it too the ground. What made it even more scarier was that Zee was inside of the room, along with an infected Zizzy. The former's only lines of defense were a few suitcases. Other than that, she had nothing, and she seemed terrified yet determined at the same time. She must've gotten Pony's message about all of this being inside of her head.

On the table directly in front of me sat yet another familiar object; a wooden sword. Before Pony got his hands on Willow's gun, he had no trouble taking down the infected with what I thought was a toy at first. If Zee was in danger, that meant that Pony and Georgie were, too. I assumed that the reason why TIO didn't put me in a similar situation was either because there was nothing to replicate that would get me to be scared, or because he wanted to deal with me himself.

As I took the sword from the table and left the room in a hurry, I couldn't help but wonder which of my assumptions was the real one. The place I was in was practically a maze, and I wanted to be out of it as soon as possible, but I couldn't leave the others who were trapped here behind. Eventually, I wandered to a hallway that didn't seem to lead anywhere else, so I hoped that something important was waiting for me on the other side.

Much to my surprise, I got what I hoped for.

I walked through a doorway and over a bridge before entering another memory. The city, to be specific. Pony and an unfamiliar horse were on the other side of the high roof. The former was being pinned down to the ground by the latter, and none of them looked too happy about their current situation for different reasons. Pony looked like he was also trying to stay strong, but the memory that TIO forced him into must've started to get to him. Luckily, I had his sword.
