Lucinda

I wasn't one to hold grudges, but perhaps I would make an exception just this once.

Fortunately, everyone in the Safe Place managed to make it out safely, minus the zebra sisters, of course. However, what we saw on the other side was a surprise for us all. With the busted open gate right behind them, Willow stood infront of her inferiors. The bear on Willow's left had a bazooka in his hands. Willow was smirking at us evilly, as though she was the antagonist in a TV show or something. My eyes narrowed in silent rage at the wolf while my friends stared in shock.

"Rise and shine!" She exclaimed with a wave. "Looks like we managed to get you out of bed!" She let out a giggle that nearly made me cringe. That wolf was definitely trying too hard. Soon, her "bright" expression changed to her normal dark and furious one. "I've been told that some of you caused quite a stir at one of our outposts," she growled through her teeth. Willow's gaze shifted specifically to me and Pony. I only gave her the same energy and stared right back at her as Pony flinched the smallest bit.

Pony quickly got himself together. "How could you do this to us, Willow?!" He screamed. "You're destroying the home of many innocent people!" Willow gave Pony a "really?" look in response to his statement. The wolf then scoffed and rolled her eyes before putting one of her hands on her hips. "And you really think you didn't do the same? How cute. The refinery was the home of many people, Pony," she replied. My personal "I-want-to-snap-her-neck" meter increased the more Willow spoke.

"You, the sleazy cop's pathetic sister and that zebra have caused many relocations. We can't afford to feed them all in one place," Willow explained. My blood boiled as my veins stuck out from beneath my skin. I could feel my hand move for the gun hidden beneath the trench coat. She could call me pathetic as much as she wanted, but calling my older sister sleazy? By doing that, she had sealed her death sentence. I had to hold myself back from shooting her right there and then.

"Leave him alone! You took Zizzy away from us!" Georgie yelled, trying to defend Pony as much as he could. Willow's angry gaze switched from Pony to Georgie shortly after the latter's protest. "Listen, kid," She threatened. "As much as I'd like to defend your friends' actions, they've done horrible things to my people." Right off the bat, I knew that the first half of Willow's sentence was a complete lie. There was no way she wanted to defend us after what we did to the refinery and its inhabitants.

"Take them with us," Willow then ordered. "We'll keep them all in one place where we can control what they do." Just then, the orange cat and the brown coyote walked away from their group and towards us. The former grabbed Mimi and Georgie while the former grabbed Pony and Giraffy. The coyote turned to me and was about to grab me, but I sent him a dark gaze that said all he needed to know without my lips parting once. "Don't even think about it."

The coyote quickly turned away, and I didn't fail to notice the sweat on his forehead. I sighed and rolled my eyes before turning to Willow. "I may be violent, but I'm not stupid," I informed her, darkening my gaze. "I don't need anyone to restrain me in order for me to follow you to wherever you'll take us." Willow's gaze turned just as dark as my own, only she was smirking. "Not much of a fighter, are you?" She asked. I knew that she was intending to anger me, so I wouldn't satisfy her.

"Only when I need to be, Willow. Only when I need to be."

I had no clue how my belt and my rucksack made it past Willow and her lackeys.

Willow shoved me inside of the cell she somehow got her hands on and shut the door. "You'll all be staying in there until you either cooperate or wear out. I'll be looking forward to talking to you soon!" With that, Willow walked away, leaving us locked up in her cell. Pony grabbed two of the metal bars and rested his head on the space between before letting out a sigh. I walked past him and sat down on the only bed there was. Giraffy and Mimi looked at each other before the former walked up to Pony.
