Guy entered the MD office. He met Ray Dalton in the office.
He knew the MD had probably informed him.
"Have a sit", Dorothy said.
" Thanks", Guy said.
"As you know that the rays is this agency major band, I have to handle it meticulously. The moment you told me you want to leave the band, I have to inform the CEO. Is there any reason why you want to leave the band?", Dorothy asked.
" Personal reasons", Guy replied.
"So did you have plans?", Dorothy asked.
" I want to be a solo singer", Guy replied.
"Then the agency will sign you", Ray puts in.
Both Dorothy and Guy turned to look at him.
" Forget about the penalty", Ray added.
Dorothy and Guy were dumb folded again. Ray knows what he is doing. This Guy liked his woman so he can not bear to see both of them in the same band. It's all for the best.
"Disband the Rays and groom the three of them as solo artiste", Ray told the MD.
Dorothy was short if words.
Ray added.
" Hold a press conference and inform them that the rays is getting disbanded and the artistes are debuting as solo artistes. We are going to hold an audition. We need a new band"
Dorothy nodded.
"Yes Sir. Will you be around during the conference? I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to stand the reporters questions. The public will even be more interested if you are around", she told him.
Ray smiled.
"Then I will be around", he said and stood up. "I have work to do at the office", he said and walk out.
Guy was amazed at how quickly Ray solved this problem. He had thought that Ray entertainment will ask him to pay a compensation for breeching the contract. And that he will have to sign with another company as a solo artiste. Who knew everything will be solved so easily? Ray Dalton is indeed capable. Maybe he is the right choice for Dorris.
Dorris took a deep breath as she opened her wardrobe. She didn't even know what to wear but she did know that she wants to look classic and elegant like a rich lady will probably look like when visiting In laws.
She heard the door open.
She knew who it is.
" Wifey, are you home?", Ray asked as he entered the house.
"I'm in the bed room", Dorris replied.
Ray entered the bed room. He saw all the clothes scattered on the floor.
" What are you doing?", he asked her.
"I'm looking for a perfect dress to match the occasion", Dorris replied.
Ray looked at the mess of cloth and sigh.
" Have this", he said handing her a shopping bag.
Dorris looked at the bag and collected it. She peeped into it.
"A dress?", she asked.
Ray nods.
" Yeah. I hope you like it", he said.
Dorris bring out the cloth. She examined it. Exactly what she wanted.
A blue shinning dress. It's classic and elegant. Just what she wanted.
"I love it!", she told him.
Ray sneered.
" you can easily say you love a cloth but not me", he said.
Dorris pouted her lips.
"You have so many dresses like this at home", he told her.
" Home?", she asked.
"The mansion. Our mansion where I stay. You have to visit that place one of this days. You have to design it to your taste too.", Ray told her.
" You have a mansion?", she asked me.
Ray hugged her.
"It's for us now", he told her.
" quickly get dress or we will be late", he told her.
