Ray is in love!

Chapter 31__ Our first day

"Anytime", he said.
He kissed her and Dorris opened up for him. She felt tingles in her tummy or is it butterfly?He kissed her forehead, her nose and her eyes. When he start showering her neck with kisses, Dorris could not help but throw her head back and moaned.
She felt ashamed and blushed.
" I want to consummate our marriage or you're not ready yet?", he asked her.
"Today is our first day together as couples. Of course I'm ready.",  Dorris said.
" So are you ready to go to heaven and come back?", he asked her.
Dorris hid her face on his chest
They consummated their marriage and warmed the house. What more housewarming could the house need.
Ray didn't stop at one round,  he begged Dorris for more and being the virtuous woman that she is she didn't say no to her husband and she ended up sore down there.

Harriet still could not believe that she was pregnant while Edmund is over joyous. Since he found out that she was pregnant, he had been pampering her. And today she is going to his parent's. She got climbed down the stairs in a hurry thinking she's delayed him.
"Easy, Harriet. You should climb the stairs gently",  he told her.
" Oh! I forgot"
"You shouldn't keep forgetting about our baby, Harriet. Put it in mind",  Edmund scolded.
Exactly her point. Imagine! She keeps forgetting that she's pregnant. She is Scared.
Is she ready to be a mother?
Will she be able to carry this pregnancy till date? Will she be able to go through the labour stress? Will she be able to take care of her child? Will she be a good mother and train the child well. Is she ready to play the role of a mother.
Edmund had told her  that he did not want them to give birth to the child out of wedlock so he wants them to get married. The earlier the better. That's why they are meeting his parents today. Harriet wondered if she is ready to be a married woman? What if she is not up to her duty? She had so many what ifs!
" C'mon. Let's go", Edmund said collecting her handbag from her.
"I can carry that.."
"Don't worry, I will help you. Just focus on carrying our baby",  he told her smiling.
Harriet sigh.

The butler announced their presence. Edmund squeezed her hand in assurance.
" Don't be nervous,  you've met mom right?", Edmund told her.
Harriet sigh.
They entered the living room. The house is an old structure but it's wonderful. She had thought the exterior is good not knowing the interior is even better.
"Hi, Harriet",  Edmund mum said and hugged her.
" Hello ma", Harriet greeted.
"Come, meet my husband", She said introducing her to Edmund Dad.
" Hello Sir", Harriet greeted.
"Wow! You look even more beautiful like my baby described you",  The man said.
Harriet blushed.
Due to the way the older couple welcomed her, she felt relaxed.
The maids escorted an old lady down the stairs.
" Granny", Edmund called. He walked to the old woman and hugged her.
"My sweet grandson",  the old lady called and pat his back.
Edmund help his Granny to a sit.
" Hello ma", Harriet greeted.
"Is this out Harriet?",  the woman asked.
" What a beautiful child. Come here, let grandma see you very well", the woman said.
Harriet walked closer. Granny hold her hand.
"So pretty. I'm very sure my Great_grandchildren will look good",  the woman said and they all laughed.
" You should take better care of yourself now that you're pregnant", the woman said.
"Yes Granny. I will obey you"
"Let's meet your parents soon so that we will pick a day for the wedding",  Edmund father said.
" Yes dad", Harriet said.

Ashley was at work when her phone beeped. It is a video message. She quickly inserted her earpiece when she saw that the message is from Douglas.
Ashley laughed out loud forgetting that she is in the office. In the video, Douglas was doing a twerking dance. He looked cute.
Since Ashley had started dating Douglas, she's been happy. She had never felt this kind of happiness in her previous relationship. She wants to be  with him for a long time.

The night is cold. Harry wrapped her scarf for her.
"Thanks",  she said.
" I've you chosen the movie?", she asked him as they enter the cinema.
"No but I've looked up online and women were suppose to like romance. So I'm thinking of watching a very romantic movie with you", Harry said.
" We are seeing a gothic. I mean i will like watching A gothic", she said.
Harry swallowed then shrugged his shoulder.
'Well, horror movie will be romantic too. When she saw something scary, she will run to my arms.', he thought.
But It was the opposite in the movie hall. He keeps running into her arms. He even screamed.
Harley could not help but laugh. She could tell that he had never seen an horror film before.
When Harry saw that Harley is laughing,  he was embarrassed.
"Why are you laughing. It's because it is my first time,  I will do better next time", he said.
" You're cute", Harley told him as the movie ended and stood up to leave the room but Harry sat down dare. He didn't expect Harley to say that to him.
"Harry?",  Harley called.
Harry jerked back to life,  he stood up and followed her.

Toby opened the door and he was surprised to see his mum.
" Come in", he said
His mother came in.
"How are you my son",  the woman asked.
" I'm fine", Toby replied.
His mother sat on his bed.
"Are you still angry at me?",  She asked him.
" Can we not talk about it?", he asked her.
"Toby, you need to come home to see your dad",  the woman said.
"Mum, that place is no home. Mum, I'm still wondering why you moved in with him."
"Your dad lost his wife"
"And you moved in like the mistress you are. Just like that, without any pride. The man is not even treating you well"
"I loved him all my life, you know that", his mum said
"Why? Why do you love that man even after all the lies he told you? Is it because he is rich? Is he because he is the owns mines?",  Toby asked." Because he is a government official? I heard he is now a candidate for the next election. You want to become a mayor mistress-became- wife?", Toby asked.
"Say whatever you like"
"He had his legitimate children. Mum, leave him. I will take care of you. I don't want you to keep staying with that man.",  Toby said.
" He is your father", his mother said calmly.
"Close the door well when you're ready to leave. I will leave first",  he said and walk out of the room.
His eyes met with Vickey eyes.
