"I'm sorry we couldn't eat dinner", Ray told her immediately they stepped into the house.
Dorris smiled.
" It's fine. Quickly order something. I'm hungry", she told him.
Ray sigh.
He brought out his phone and ordered dinner for the both of them.
He entered the room and Dorris is already slipping out of her dress.
"Our food will arrive soon", he told her.
" Okay", she said and remove all her accessories.
"I'm very sorry for today", Ray told her.
" Murray, What are you sorry for. I'm glad you let them know we are married. I felt more assured now. Don't worry, I won't sign any divorce paper, even if you ask me to", She told him.
She stood up from the vanity table and walk towards the bathroom.
"I will quickly take a shower."
"Should I join you?", Ray asked her.
Dorris knew what he is driving at.
" No thanks. I'm very tired as it is", she said.
"What do you think I'm saying?", he asked. " I only mean to shower"
Dorris entered the bathroom and turn to him.
"I know. You use to mean that but at the end of the day, I will end up moaning under the shower due to your assault. Hubby, wait till I am done", She said and jammed the door.
Ray smiled. He will let her alone tonight. She wouldn't be able to escape another time.
Dorris came out of the room. Her hair still wet.
" You didn't dry your hair well.", he told her.
"Yes. I'm very hungry. I will dry it after eating", she responded.
Ray beckoned to her.
" Come here. Let's eat. I ordered from a very good restaurant. Trust me, you will like it", he told her.
Dorris sat down on the floor in the living room with Ray.
"I better visit Ashley more so that she will teach me how to cook. I've been busy lately"
She brought out her phone and saw a message from the agency.
"What?", she exclaimed.
Ray took a sip of water.
" What is it, Dorris?", he asked.
"Our band has been disbanded. The agency said they will make us artiste on our own", Dorris said excitedly. Every corner of her face is smiling.
" This is my dream, Ray. My dream is coming true so soon. I can't believe this. I love Rays entertainment. ", she blurted.
Ray snorted.
" You're loving Rays entertainment when you have a Ray here. How ungrateful. You've never confessed your love to me", Ray complained.
"Wait, Do you know about this?", she asked him.
" I've you forgotten that your husband is the CEO?", he asked.
"Is this your doing? Do you ask the agency to promote us?", she asked him again.
" You're welcome", he said.
Dorris hugged him.
"I love you Murray", she said out of excitement.
Ray scoffed.
" You love me because of this, Dorris. So cruel", Ray muttered.
Dorris blinked several times.
"It's not that kind of love I'm talking about. I mean that's what people say when someone do what makes them excited."
Ray had a hurtful expression on his face.
"So you still don't love me?", he asked.
Dorris swallowed.
She moved back and start eating.
" Eat, Murray. It's going cold", she said.
"I lost it", Ray replied and stood up.
" What is that?", Dorris asked him.
"My appetite", Ray replied and went into the room.
