Chapter 7__Happy birthday

Dorris__"let's eat out", she messaged her father, Douglas and Ashley and she sent the address.
She ate lunch with Ray and he dropped her of at home.
She decided to save his phone number.She wondered how he got hers.
Dorris decided to take a nap before the time for dinner.

Dorris entered the restaurant and saw the three of them already waiting for her.
"Evening , everyone", she greeted.
" Good evening my sweetheart ", Her father replied.
"Why do you suddenly want to eat out?", Ashley asked her.
"Can I order wine, dad?", Douglas asked.
" Dad is not paying. I am.", Dorris said.
"Why? I will pay...",
Dorris cut in.
"Dad, you're not paying. I am because I have something to celebrate so I'm the host tonight."
"Douglas you can order wine", She added.
"Wow. I love you sis", Douglas said and called the waiter.
" So what's the celebration? ", Ashley asked.
Dorris shook her head. "You guys have been so busy since morning that you couldn't even watch the news"
"I saw the headlines but I didn't read. I got no Data to waste. Let's order.", Douglas said.
" Well, I debuted. I signed the contract today!"
"Wow!", Ashley screamed and the girls stood up and hug each other.
" Congratulations, my sweetheart ", Her father said.
" It's only Ray entertainment that... Is it with Rays entertainment? ", Douglas asked.
" Yes. I signed as a member of their main band, The rays. I'm even the band leader.", Dorris said.
"Not only debuted as a member of a main band but you're also the band leader? Wow! ", Douglas said scrolling through his phone.
" Doesn't this means that you will get good resources and you will always be the agency priority?", Ashley asked.
"You're right"
"Wow! You've made it big this time. I will really open a fan page for you this time around", Douglas told her.
"So my daughter is now a celebrity?".
" yes dad"
"Your mum must be very proud of you wherever she is now."
"Of course"
"Can we order now?", Douglas asked.
They all laughed and call on the waiter.

They are releasing their first album in two months time so they are busy with it. A famous song writer wrote the song so they're sure they will make good sales with it.
" Alright take a break", their coordinator said.
Their manager walks to them.
"You guys are having a short commercial tomorrow. The pay is quite good so the company accepted it."
"Ok"
"After the release, you're going to join a reality show."
"Okay, Manager Brown", They all said.
Dorris phone beeped.
" I will live you to do your things.", the manager said and left.
Dorris assistant gave her phone to her.
"Thanks, Zoe"
"You're welcome"
Dorris read the message.
Murray__let's eat🍕🍽. It's my treat.
Dorris__Ok. I'm gonna order the most expensive dishes. You still dare?
Murray__Oh! I'm scared 😨. I will still treat you to a meal anyway.
Dorris__😁you gonna regret this. See you at 6:00pm.

Ray is waiting for Dorris at the garage when his phone beeped.

" No. Just got here. So what do you want to eat? He asked as he open the car door for her.
"Steak", She replied.

"Birthday? So today is my birthday.", Ray smiled.
" Thanks for remembering", Ray told her.
She smiled.
"I will prepare sea weed soup for you. You have to eat dinner at home tonight."
"I will obey you Missy.", He said and walk to the door.
" Ah! Prepare dinner for two", He said.
"Two?", Miss Preya asked but he is gone.
' Two. Who could the young master be bringing home?', the older woman thought within her.
