Chapter 100__Latest couple

It's finally the day.

The biggest event center in the city is filled with people. The hall is colourful and this kind of wedding is everyone's wish.
Ashley hugged Douglas arm.
"My friend is finally having her wedding. I'm so happy for her",  she said.
Douglas nod his head in agreement.
" After a lot of delay, she is getting this kind if extravagant wedding. I guess it's worth the wait", he said.
The wedding is being life streamed and there are a lot of people watching it. After all, the couples used to be celebrities.
The biggest bill board in the city has the couples picture on it so almost everyone on the city knew what is going on that day.
"I'm going to the waiting room. Our daughter is with my mum. She is seating with dad(Louis).",  Ashley said and walked away.
Ashley is the bridesmaid of honour.
Harriet arrived with her husband and  daughter. She greeted Ray's parents.
She frowned when she saw Harley with Harry. Harley is wearing a fitted dress and she looks good.
" I couldn't even wear a nice dress because of my protruding stomach", she complained as her husband led her to sit with Harry and his wife.
The men greeted each other.
"I'm leaving now. You got your sister in law to keep you company",  Harry told Harley. He is the best man and he is going to walk down the aisle with the groom.
" Okay ", Harley said.
Toby and vickey entered the hall holding hands. They are having their wedding in month time. They decided not to retire yet. They are still signed with Rays entertainment.
Rays entertainment is now the top agency in the city now. They are a lot of popular celebrity signed with them.
Toby flied in the day before so that he could attend Dorris and Ray's wedding.
" I'm jealous of Dorris. She got to have such a nice wedding", Vicky said.
Well many people are envying Dorris today but none of them envied her when she was passing through a hard time.
Many people are wishing for all what Dorris have today but how many people can still stand still after passing through the storm Dorris passed through?
Such is life.
"Dorris deserved even more than this",  Guy muttered.
He didn't want to attend her wedding but he still did anyway. He wanted to wish her Happy married life.
He's just going to focus on his career. He will not consider marriage. If the bride is not Dorris then he isn't willing to get married.

Dorris is sitting beside Ray in the waiting room. Ashley and Harry entered.
" It's starting ", Harry said.
The couple nodded and took a deep breathe. It's finally happening. The whole world will be witnessing our union.
Raymond came in. He was dressed in the same blue tuxedo as his dad. He is the ring bearer.
He walked to his mom.
" Mom, you're so pretty ", he said shyly.
Dorris smiled and turned pink.
" Thank you my handsome son", she said.
"I want a kiss",  the little boy said.
Dorris heart melted seeing her son acting cute.
She kissed his cheeks leaving lipstick on his cheeks.
" Oh my! I stained your cheeks", the mom said.
"It's okay",  Raymond said.
He took his handkerchief and wiped the lipstick off.
" I want a kiss too ",the man beside the bride said.
Dorris rolled her eyes at him.
" Never mind. I will prefer the kiss we will be having later in the hall with many people watching", Ray said and Dorris glared at him, nervous.

"Here comes the groom"
Harry came in first and the groom followed dressed in a blue tuxedo. Ray is all smile as he walk down the aisle.
Mrs Dalton was emotional watching her son.
"Here comes the bride"
The hall went silent as a little boy who was suppose to walk in with his father but insisted to come with his mother came in first.
Seeing her grandson, there was so much joy in Mrs Dalton heart. Thinking that the boy will be with her for two weeks while his parents will go to their honey moon, she was glad.
Only of the child could just stay with her.
Never mind, she will just make sure he spends his holidays with her. That's more than enough.
Ashley followed after Raymond.
Then Dorris walked with her father. The man led her towards the stage and handed her to Ray.
The officiator began the wedding immediately.
"Today, we will be uniting the groom,  Murray with the bride,  Dorris. If there is anyone in this hall against this union, signify now or remain silent forever",  the officiator said and the hall went silent.
The officiator asked again and again but no one signified.
He turned to Ray
" Will you, Murray take Dorris as your wife. To  love and care for her in health and in sickness. In wealth and in poverty, For better for worse till death do you apart? ",
" Yes I do", Ray replied.
The audience clapped.
The officiator turned to Dorris.
"Will you Dorris take the groom Murray as your husband. To love and respect. In any situation till death do you apart"
Silence.
Dorris was emotional as she said
"Yes I do"
She can't believe this wedding is finally happening.
"I announce the both of you as husband and wife. What God as joined together. Let no one put asunder",the officiator said.
Raymond came forward bearing the rings.
" You can exchange the rings ", he said.
The couples exchange the rings as they said their vows.
After the ring exchange,  the officiator announced.
" You can kiss the bride",
Ray drew Dorris into his embrace and kissed her. Everyone in the hall clapped. The kiss lasted for five minutes.
By the time the kiss ended, Dorris face us all red. This cold blooded husband of hers.
Before Dorris could do anything else,  he swept her into his arms carrying her in a bridal style.
The camera man took as many photos as they could.
Ray then whispered in Dorris ears.
"We have to make our little princess during our honeymoon. You can drink less alcohol"
Dorris turned pink.
"So shameless",  she muttered
