Chapter 61__Ray is hers to begin with!

Dorris slept in. She couldn't sleep early yesterday night. She missed Ray. She wanted to run to him but she didn't. Maybe she was really a coward. She felt bad for leaving her husband immediately something happened and she made up her mind to run to him early in the morning and apologise for being so weak and for being wavered for a while. She was not able to sleep until she made that decision.
She woke up to someone calling her.
"Sis! Sis! Sis! Are you awake?",  Douglas asked.
There is some kind of emergence in his voice.
" Come in", she told him, sitting up and rubbing her eyes.
"Good afternoon bro",  she greeted after glancing at the wall clock.
" Yeah. Sis, hurry up and start packing. We need to move now or we will be thrown out. We can only pick few things though", Douglas told her.
"What?",  Dorris was surprised.
" I mean why are we moving? Dad bought this apartment, didn't he?", she asked."Are we relocating or what?", she asked.
"Just take few important things. We have no time to waste. We just need to leave this place now", Douglas told her.
Louis entered the room.
" Are you done? They gave us two hours to vacate this place,  hurry!", he said.
"But dad, where do we go?",  Douglas asked.
" Still don't know.", Louis replied, his eyes sad.
"Dad, is it my husband parents again?",  Dorris asked.
Louis cleared his throat.
" No time for Small chat. Hurry", he said and walk out of the room.

At the same time Ray is doing a press conference.
A lot of reporters are at Rays entertainment. The hall is full.
Soon Ray walked in followed by Dorothy and Jerome.
Dorothy took the microphone.
"The press conference will now start. All your questions should be about the scandal involving our President please. This press conference is meant to clarify things.",  She said.
The reporters have so many questions. They are so happy when they were notified that there will be a press conference and they prepare several questions that they are sure the people will want to know.
" Chairman Ray, I'm  Gold from sissy TV. Is it true that you're seeing an artiste signed with your company? ", she asked.
" Yes", Ray simply replied.

Ava was watching the press conference on her Tab. She thought Ray is going to deny Dorris on camera and that will be a good opportunity for her. She is going to publicly announce that she was Ray fiancee and that they will be getting married soon. She is so sure that the netizens will not be able to do anything to her after all, she os a socialite.
But Ray admitting to their relationship just ruined her plan.
"Is that artiste Dorris, a former member of the Rays?",  another reporter asked him.
" Yes", Ray replied again.
"Your fans assaulted her yesterday, are you aware?",  another reporter asked.
" Yes. That's the purpose of this conference. I want to tell all those that assaulted her yesterday that they are a disgrace to their families. They are not my fans. My fans will want happiness for me and will not hurt the person I like and as a matter of fact, I'm no more in the entertainment industry. I'm now a business man. I am sure none of you will want to see my other side. I am not the popstar you know. No one is allowed to bully my wife. Whosoever bully my wife again will regret it all their life. I will make sure of that", Rat said.
The reporters were surprised at Rat words.
One of them quickly asked.
"Chairman Dalton, do you just call Dorris your wife?",  she asked him.
" yes", Ray replied.
"We are married. We just kept it away from the public",  Ray answered.
"You didn't hold a wedding did you?",  Another reporter asked.
They are all excited about this news. It is such a hot potato. The most eligible bachelor around is taken.
" We didn't. We will hold one soon", Ray replied.
"The conference has ended",  he said and walk away. The reporters are frantic. They still have so many questions.

Ava fisted her fingers.
She was so angry. How dare him publicize their marriage? Is he not afraid that it will stain his family reputation. Ava was even more angry that her parents will see this. They will probably tell her to give up. They might try to set her up with other guys from nice families but Ava didn't want any of them. All she wants is Ray. Why is he so difficult to get.
Just what is it that the girl possess that she didn't have? How can she lose to a wretched girl.
Over her dead body. She will marry no one but Ray. Nobody else will do. Only Ray is enough.
He is manageable. She wants Ray!

It's only normal to face a lot of challenges in love. This is one of the obstacles of love. She have to cross it. She will do anything in her power. She will do everything she can. She will not lose to that wretch girl.
