"Valentine, I am very sorry for worrying you and I want to thank you for taking care of me during my unconscious state. I am indebted to you again." She immediately appreciated his help.

"Don't mention it. Just make sure that it will not happen again. You scared me!" He seriously declared before he worriedly scanned her.

"I am really fine. You do not have to worry. I do not feel anything strange." Beatrix told him that she is okay although, she felt so tired, weak, and hungry! "But I love to eat now..." She smiled at him, urging him to prepare a sumptuous meal for her.

They ate their lunch together. Beatrix ate more food than usual so she glanced secretly and uncomfortably at Emperor Valentine... He seems to be happily observing her huge appetite! To him, seeing her eat so much while maintaining finesse and a dignified appearance is a talent that amused him greatly! She is unusual and very unlike the other women that he knew and observed. This side of her made him forget all the stress, worry, and fear that he felt a few days ago when the physicians are reporting to him their diagnosis and treatment!

He smiled happily while thinking and imagining their future life together after they become husband and wife... He is in the middle of daydreaming when she suddenly told him something that he truly did not like!

"Valentine, I need to go out and check if I still have a job." She told him sadly, thinking that it is possible that her job was already given to another person...

"No! I won't allow you to go out! Starting today, you will remain here inside the palace!" Emperor Valentine angrily exploded.

Beatrix was suddenly shocked by his sudden outburst, especially his strange behavior... He acts like an overly possessive, clingy, unreasonable, and jealous husband! It reminds her of a certain someone, which in turn made her feel a pang of extreme pain!

Emperor Valentine was also shocked by his sudden outburst. He felt that someone splash him with very cold water when he sees her shocked and questioning expression. He knew that his reaction went overboard this time because Beatrix is not his woman.

Well... Not yet!

"I am sorry. I am just worried about you. You cannot go out yet... You just recovered today." He told her gently, trying to ease the tension.

"I need to check it. That job is so important to me." She insisted.

"I understand but you need to rest first. You cannot force yourself like that. Do not let me worry like that." He explained to her and then he continued. "Beatrix, you need to rest today. I promise to escort you tomorrow to check but for today, you need to stay here."

"Okay. But you do not need to go with me tomorrow. I know you are very busy." She replied.

"No, I insist. I will not be comfortable thinking that you are strolling in the capital alone and not in good health." He told her with an expression that he won't take no for an answer.

She smiled and nodded, thinking that she owed him a lot and if she could assure him this way then she will let him come. It is probably great that he will go with her tomorrow because she is beginning to feel so weak, tired, and lightheaded again after their lunch. She tried to mask her condition by being so cheerful and active but it seems to drain her energy even more!

In the mid-afternoon, she told alibi to Emperor Valentine that she will rest according to his suggestion but in truth, she is very dizzy and wants to vomit as her head is aching so much and seems to be spinning severely! The surrounding is still so bright from the afternoon sunlight but she wants to stay in the bed!

Emperor Valentine immediately left after tucking her into bed. She closed her eyes trying to sleep but when she is already alone inside her bedroom... She could not sleep as she suddenly remember all the events in her weird dream...

She immediately felt the surge of different emotions mixed into strong ones that she could no longer understand! She does not understand why she is feeling this! She only slept and dreamt another strange dream... It is not her first time but the feeling is even more powerful! Her tears begin to fall as each memory assaulted her without mercy... It makes her remember things that she should probably bury entirely and not recall anymore!

It was already in the past... Why is it all coming back? I want to move on... Why does the ghost of the past is still haunting me?

She sobbed so hard until her head hurts so much! Her heart hurts so much! And her body hurts even more! Soon, her surrounding distorts... The purple bedroom slowly changed and morphed into a different one!

Oh, no!!! How?!! Why?!!

She suddenly realized that she is inside a different bedroom! Her heart beats even faster as she scanned the surroundings... She is in a black and white theme bedroom inside a ship! Her eyes widen as she could see a vast expanse of seawater through the bedroom's window! She could also feel that the ship seems to be sailing so fast!
