The Creator looked at her for a moment before answering seriously, “Psi, you know that no one can hide anything from me. He meant it. Every last bit of it… With every fiber of his being.”
She flinched when she heard her name and then gulped in anxiety as she heard his response. At that moment, it immediately cemented her idea that Aiden truly made a grievous mistake!
She secretly panicked deep inside and her mind instantly made a list of all the rules she broke. She remained kneeling while looking at the ground. She could not look him in the eyes…
Silence reigned between them for a considerable amount of time. It was so unlike their usual interaction. In the end, it was her Celestial Father who broke the deafening silence between them.
“It has been a long time… Come here, my child.”
She was extremely surprised that her Celestial Father did not seem mad at all. His ever gentle voice and soothing words made her doubt her ears! She decided to take a chance to look at his expression and share his thoughts…
His peerless appearance remained vibrant and radiant but she could no longer enter and read his thoughts! It seems her Celestial Father does not trust her anymore and erected an invisible barrier between their usual connection.
I could not blame him though…
She sadly thought and could not help feeling depressed deep inside.
“What are you doing? Come here, I want to talk to you...” He gently nudged her again to approach him.
She was cautious for a moment but after carefully considering all their past interactions, she realized she never saw him get mad at all. Suddenly, she was unsure if he is not a bit mad or he is just like this even if he is extremely angry or disappointed.
She stood up and silently walked closer to the powerful being she adores since the beginning of her existence...
Am I wrong? But if I am wrong, why would he suddenly retrieve a mortal’s essence?
She was very curious but was also very afraid to ask. For such a long time, she obeyed the rules but within a few decades, she committed several violations that it would seem very unlikely her Celestial Father would not be mad or disappointed with her.

“Huh?!! Why-” Her heart lurched violently and then thudded incessantly. She did not expect this question… Well, at least, not while talking about her violations and eventual punishment. If she was not a celestial being, she would probably have had a heart attack and died instantly!
Who truly owns my… heart? Why would he ask that?
She thought for a moment before explaining the situation.
“Celestial Father… I… you know that I am already married to Viktor...”
“Ah, yes. The baby you saved and raised with the help of this person…” His gaze returned to the sphere of energy in his hand.
Her eyes also stared at the familiar object before she nodded in agreement and said, “Yes.”
“You married a mortal even if you already know he is not your mate…” He said and then he absorbed the sphere inside him.
Her eyes widened in shock. She wanted to complain when she could no longer see or feel Aiden's essence but did not dare to say anything about it as she understood the seriousness of the matter and the grave situation they are in. Any wrong answer or action could truly mean the end for both of them…
“Yes.” She answered truthfully.
“Celestial Daughter, as the Goddess of Fate and Destiny, you are already aware from the start that you are not meant to be together. You are not fated or destined for each other. He is not the one for you and you are not the one for him. ”
“Celestial Father, please I beg you! I truly love Viktor! You are a very powerful being… You created each individual’s fate and destiny… Please change our course of fate and destiny… Please make him my intended being! My fated person! My destined soulmate!
