Zander does not like it but he suddenly feels a mixture of jealousy and insecurity next to the two people who had everything from the moment that they were born! At that exact moment, he suddenly had a strong desire to make up a stupid lie and flaunt it at the same time!

"Your Highnesses, you do not have any idea! My wife was very angry that I broke my promise... You must have heard about her temper and her unique ways of doing things... I... I was not able to sleep even a wink! She punished me so badly and now I feel so weak all over my body!" Zander explained smoothly leaving the two princes with a different scenario running in their minds.

"Oh! Really?" The two princes immediately turned serious while imagining that Zander King experienced severe sadomasochistic sexual activities last night... In their imagination, the new minister is the poor submissive partner while the general's daughter is the ruthless dominatrix!

"Yeah. That is why this servant wants to go home soon or else, this servant will be punished even more!" Zander feigned a helpless sigh.

"It was that serious?" Prince Anders curiously asked and felt worried for another person aside from his brother. "If you like, we could rescue you..." He offered as he could see that the young minister has great potential so having him as an additional loyal subordinate would be great!

Prince Andrew nodded too. He also does not like that a man is being bullied by a woman! In his mind, Zander has a very ridiculous and humiliating situation!

"I greatly appreciate your concern towards this humble servant but I would never dare to bother Your Highnesses with my personal affairs. My problem is just very simple with a very simple solution. I just need to follow whatever my wife wants and let her do whatever she wants with me... Now, please excuse me, Your Highnesses! This lowly servant needs to go home now." Zander gently explained then bowed to the two princes and hurriedly entered his carriage.

The two princes were surprised at the turn of the event! They silently gawked at the leaving carriage of the new minister...

"Imperial Brother, you felt it too, right?" Prince Andrew asked his brother while they are still staring at the leaving carriage...

"Yeah. It feels weird!" Prince Anders agreed and grinned mysteriously. "If I did not know any better, I would think that he is making us jealous and insecure!"

"You are right but that is not what I mean! Did you see his eyes? He is not afraid... It is more like... He is excited to go home and experience whatever weird things are going on between him and his wife..." Prince Andrew thoughtfully explained.

"Now that you mentioned it... It seems that he is showing off and rubbing on our faces that he has very active, exciting, and adventurous bedroom activities!" Prince Anders suddenly blurted out.

"That is your fault! If you did not tell him last night that we are still... inexperienced! We would not lose our faces in front of him!" Prince Andrew angrily hissed at his brother while also checking the surroundings if there are other people nearby who might hear their embarrassing conversation.

"Hehehe! Imperial Brother, I got carried away... Minister King is kind of an interesting person to talk to!" Prince Anders guiltily grinned at his brother.

Prince Andrew sighed helplessly and shook his head in annoyance... There are times like this when he wants to choke his brother to death!

Zander went home early and visited his dear wife. He smiles immediately when he saw her dining in her courtyard...

"Husband! Come! Join me!" Beatrix flashed him a radiant smile and offered him to eat with her.

He could not help but smile even more as he could see her happy expression. Whenever she is in a good mood, she would call him 'Husband' but whenever she is mad or irritated with him, she would use his birth name. He sat in the opposite seat so he could openly study her wonderful features... She ordered the servants to put another set of eating utensils on the table so he could eat with her.

"So, how is your day?" She asked enthusiastically while savoring one of the dishes.

"It is good." He replied and told her some generic topics that were discussed in court. Next, she probed deeper and he could not help but slowly tell her the exact details... In the end, he divulged all the topics in court! He chose to do this because she seems very interested and knowledgeable about the topic, he would also like to create an opportunity to stay with her longer, and finally, she never leave the General's Mansion so she could not spread it to the other people outside the mansion.

When Beatrix is already alone inside her bedroom, she closed her eyes while taking a deep breath in her bed. Next, she exhaled softly with deep sadness in her heart...

I am sorry, Zander! I know that I promised to let you show your true ability inside the court but I need to do something...
