"You will become a great general but you will never have a son... Are you still willing?" The beautiful goddess asked him seriously because having no son in a military household means no one will continue the family trade! It equates to the end of the line and glory of the once-powerful military family after the last heir kicks the bucket.

"Don't... care! Want... to... live..." He agreed in desperation and coughed up more blood.

She smiled and healed his body. He suddenly feels so healthy all of the sudden! Soon, he felt another wave of excruciating pain! His entire body feels so hot and painful as a burst of foreign energy is now circulating and dominating his body! His mind feels like splitting or bursting into small parts as several fighting techniques and military tactics are forcibly entering his memory! He screamed in pain! 

"Oops! Sorry, no pain... no gain!" She said before disappearing.

It was so hard for him... He screamed at the top of his lungs! The pain is so unbearable, he almost begged for death after begging to live longer! He thought he would never survive it but on the next day, he woke up and he was never the same! That day, he forced his father to send him to the army where he slowly changed from being a short, scrawny kid into a massive boulder! His tall and huge stature, military tactics, and astonishing fighting prowess could send the enemies trembling on the battlefield. Slowly, he earned his name and gained several loyal supporters. He even surpassed all of his predecessor's battle performances at a very young age. When he reached the age of twenty, he became a fearsome general...

One day, he received a letter stamped with an imperial seal ordering him to leave the border and go back to the capital soonest. He went back and was surprised when he found out from his father that he is going to marry someone two days later! As a member of a noble and powerful household, a marriage of convenience was not uncommon. He was going to obey his father until he met the person he is going to marry on his wedding day... He was flabbergasted when he realized that his Father General and Emperor Julius are ordering him to marry the crown prince!

It seems that Crown Prince Claudius was as surprised as him! At that time, he realized that the two people who held great power, status, and authority in Sky Empire are not only hopeless individuals but also severe cases of crack nuts! There is no way he is going to blindly obey this time! He ran away from the ridiculous wedding but his father and his group of loyal men together with the Emperor's loyal guards pursued him until they cornered him above the watchtower...

"Father, what is this?!!" He angrily inquired. He walked backward until he reached the edge of the watchtower. One more step backward and he will fall to his death!

"Ardor, I know I have never been a good father to you all these years but I am still your father! You owe me your life! You need to save me and the empire by marrying the crown prince! The Sky and Lamoreaux families must become one before the sun goes down or else... or else..." General Arthur declared with expressed urgency in his words and expressions. He is constantly looking to his left, right, back, and above like he is trying to locate and avoid someone. All of a sudden, he kneeled on the ground and shouted to the corner where no one is present..."Please, I do not want to die! I will keep my end of the bargain! Please, have mercy! I will make sure that Ardor marries the crown prince today!!!" 

"Father, I am a man! There is no way I am marrying the crown prince!!!" He wants to talk some sense to his father but it seems that it was already too late! His Father General had already lost his mind together with the other men who gazed at the same empty corner with blatant fear on their faces! He fiercely fought his father and the other men that day... They drove him to desperation... Before the sun goes down, several bodies fell from the watchtower...

After committing a very serious crime, he went back to plead guilty and beg the emperor to lower his punishment for the sake of all the years he bravely protected the empire but when he found the emperor, he was already dead! The emperor was stabbed through the heart by the crown prince, who is still trembling and mumbling again and again in a corner that he did not mean to kill his father... It was self-defense! He slapped the crown prince to forcefully draw him back to reality! He is the key so that they will not die for killing their fathers...
