Beatrix was initially shocked that she is not exempted this time but she knows that the two princes would not file a formal request to exempt the Lamoreaux and Marvel families because they did not know her in the first place. In this lifetime, they do not have an acceptable reason to forbid her from participating so it is not surprising that she would need to perform. Now, she does not have a choice but to wait for the emperor's decision. She looked at her husband and she immediately realized that he is uncomfortable with the situation.

"Husband, I am very sorry... I put you in this messy situation." She gently told him and sighed helplessly.

"No. It is my fault... I did not immediately figure out that you are trying to avoid serious humiliation because you do not possess outstanding feminine talent." He whispered apologetically to her, thinking that was her reason for avoiding the public all these years.

She does not know whether she should laugh or cry after she heard his idea. She smiled naughtily before saying, "Husband, you are so cute!" then she pinched his cheek and said, "It hurts so much knowing that you do not believe in me..." She complained and then pouted sexily; making most of the men who saw it secretly swoon in their seats but two princes had another reaction... They glared at Zander like they are trying to drill a big hole in his body!

"I-It Hurthz!" Zander complained, unable to say it properly because she is still pinching his cheek.

She giggled softly and released his cheek before saying, "Don't worry! After the banquet, I will make you feel so good..." She said it sexily while softly caressing his right arm. It is like she is giving him a free sample.

"Really? Oh, wow! Thank you in advance! Now, I am very excited!" Zander grinned happily, knowing that his wife will give him a body massage later. To be honest, he wants more than a simple body massage but the physician did not give the go signal yet so he needs to be patient for the safety of his beloved wife and unborn baby!

Without them knowing, another two pairs of highly sensitive ears are secretly and actively listening to their conversation. These two people are already gritting their teeth and clenching their hands so hard as they have a different understanding of the conversation...

That's it! I am not going to sit here anymore!!!

They uniformly thought and were about to stand up to approach the couple when suddenly, they heard their Imperial Mother calling their attention... They were both taken aback and were forced to look at the spot where their parents are sitting!

"Yes, Imperial Mother! What is it?" They replied and asked in unison.

"I am trying to convince your Imperial Father to let Lady Beatrix give us all a little entertainment. I am very curious about her talent... Aren't you curious?" She asked them gently and observed their reaction. She curved her lips when she immediately saw the unmistakable excitement and curiosity in their eyes.

"Imperial Mother is right! We must let Lady Beatrix show her talent to raise the honor of her family and to be fair to the other young ladies in the empire!" Prince Anders declared using a righteous tone.

"I agree with Imperial Brother! Lady Beatrix must be given the same opportunity to represent her family. In the past, only young maidens were asked to perform but if you think about it, there is no existing law forbidding a married woman from showing her talent in front of other people." Prince Andrew said in support of his brother's statement.

The other men in the surroundings immediately agreed and nodded their heads in anticipation. The women, on the other hand, had mixed opinions. Some women are curious and would like to see her perform so they could find flaws in her performance but other women are already so mad and jealous that they prefer she would not be allowed to seduce the men further! The Sky Empire is a patriarchal place and society so the men have the last say... 

Beatrix facepalmed inside her mind when she heard the words of the two princes. She could still remember how they fought tooth and nail just to forbid her from participating in the talent showcase and any contests in her previous lifetimes... But now, they are actively supporting and encouraging it! They are acting the exact opposite!

Urgh!!! Unbelievable! What the heck!

She thought in annoyance and then stood up when the emperor called her name and asked her to perform any talent that she would like. She walked to the center of the banquet hall and looked at the Emperor and Empress confidently when she is already in the middle.

Her family and husband had suffered humiliation for several years because of her. Now that she decided to show herself in the public, she will take it to the next level! She will put the bullies in their place and stop anyone from using her to insult or humiliate the people she loves!
