"Apparently, he does not care..." Prince Andrew added fuel to the fire. 

"Let me see the proposal first!" Prince Anders opened his palm in front of his brother, indicating that he needs to see it with his own eyes. He is not just going to take his brother's words for it.

Prince Andrew silently handed him a purple scroll, a clear reminder of Solaris Empire's great power and wealth. He immediately took it and read the content thoroughly. Suddenly, he understood his brother's anxiety.

"Luckily, my men intercepted the proposal before it could reach our Imperial Father's hands, or else..." 

"Yeah, I know what will happen if Imperial Father got a hold of this proposal! You don't have to say it! I am not an idiot! Damn it!" He erupted for a moment until he realized something... "Imperial Brother... you were asking for the imperial seal because you already made up a response! You want to make it look like an official response from our Imperial Father..." He grinned widely when he realized that his brother made a very serious and fatal mistake. "Oh, my! Do you realize this is high treason punishable by stripping of your imperial title, imprisonment, torture, and eventually public execution?"  He could use this information to finally eliminate the competition but it would be like picking up a stone and using that same stone to smash his head! He could get rid his of brother but he will be replaced with an even bigger threat! His brother seems to understand him so well, which is why he has been very calm and silent the whole time...

How cunning! He knew I would never report him this time!!!

"Let me check your made-up response..." He said helplessly. He was thinking his brother tricked him into helping him.

"No need. Everything is perfect. Just let me borrow the imperial seal and I will leave immediately." 

 "Not so fast! You are not in charge here! I will determine whether your response is perfect or not..." He said smugly and continued, "So where is it?" He motioned to give him the document but his high and mighty brother ignored his words so he had to remind him, "Do you want my cooperation or not?"

This time, he smiled in triumph when his brother finally gave him the scroll. He unrolled it and read the content thoroughly. It was perfect, except for the part that states "Beatrix Lamoreaux is betrothed to my Imperial Son, Crown Prince Andrew."

 "Are you kidding me?! She is not officially betrothed to you! Imperial Father says that according to our late Imperial Grandfather's words: Sky and Lamoreaux families must become one! That means..."

Prince Andrew smashed the table and the splinters went flying in different directions before he declared coldly, "Fine. I will revise it." He clicked his fingers and one of the shadow guards appeared with an empty imperial scroll and writing materials. Another shadow guard cleared the shattered table and replaced it with a new one.

Prince Anders chuckled softly, feeling amused that his brother became so upset. He easily evaded all the deadly speeding splinters in his direction. Now, they were in a deadlock staring contest... One is smiling gently while the other one is glaring dangerously. The tension was broken when one of the shadow guards informed them that everything is ready. Prince Andrew immediately sat in front of the table and began writing on the empty scroll. He ignored his brother and focused on what he was doing...

"Imperial Brother, you are always so prepared! You even stole a blank imperial scroll! I wonder if Imperial Father would notice..."  It was both an honest compliment and mockery but his brother ignored him completely this time.

When he was done, Prince Andrew swiftly rolled the scroll and threw it towards his brother, who was comfortably slouching while eating snacks in the corner, waiting for him to finish writing. Prince Anders caught the scroll and read its content. This time, he approves because his brother did not write anything ridiculous.

"Give me the imperial seal." Prince Andrew ordered impatiently.

"No. You will have to wait here, Imperial Brother..." Prince Anders replied smoothly but when he saw his brother's weird expression, he simply explained, "No worry. I will stamp the document for you. You don't expect me to reveal its location, right? After all, it was entrusted to me by Imperial Father..." He did not miss the opportunity to give his brother another psychological and emotional blow.

That day, he helped his imperial brother for the first time... They illegally obtained and kept an important proposal that could bring great fortune to Sky Empire! They illegally decided on the empire's future! They assumed the identity of an emperor and falsified an imperial document! In short, they committed high treason for the first time... But, the first time was never the last! 

They thought the brat would get the message and stop when he received a rejection but Emperor Valentine of Solaris Empire did not give up and sent other proposals to Sky Empire, which fortunately, they managed to intercept every time. In the end, the two brothers became official allies and partners in crime... How can they allow that foreign brat to get their beloved woman?!!
