Inside the palace, after gently tucking the kid on the bed, the two brothers had another serious argument... 

"Why did you do that?!! How dare you abduct my son!!!" Emperor Andrew finally let out his gnawing anger that he restricted the whole time they were traveling back to the palace. 

"Woah! That was a very serious accusation, Imperial Brother! I just borrowed the kid for a moment... I need an adorable companion!" He grinned at his angry brother. 

"You took him without my permission! That is abduction!" Emperor Andrew pointed out his brother's mistake. He was very scared earlier when he heard his son is missing. He could not afford to lose either his beloved wife or precious child. 

"I just let the little fellow experience what it is like to be a real kid... Unlike you, you are imprisoning, restricting, and controlling him!" Prince Anders stated directly, not caring whether or not his words would slap his brother's face. 

"How dare you! You have no right to question my way of raising my son! I am preparing him to become the next great emperor! What you are doing is spoiling him! You are making him reckless and dependent!" Emperor Andrew argued and glared at his brother fiercely. 

"No, you are not raising him... You are training him to become your loyal and obedient servant! You are the one ruining him, Imperial Brother... " Prince Anders ridiculed his brother. 

Emperor Andrew choked his brother and hissed," You successfully muddled Imperial Father and Imperial Mother in the past... But I will not let you succeed this time! I know what you are doing... You want to steal my son so she would choose you when we successfully retrieved her from the land of the dead! You will never get my wife or my son!!!" He declared hatefully and pressed his hands harder. He was very desperate so he agreed to his brother's condition... 

They agreed that once Beatrix is safely back in the land of the living, she could choose between the two of them and the loser must respect her decision. To strengthen the agreement, Prince Anders performed a blood ritual cursing the one who will violate this sacred agreement into eternal extinction.  It means the violator will instantly die and will never be reborn anymore. His brother was confident that she will choose him because she married him willingly while he, on the other hand, is hoping that she will choose him because they have a son! 

Prince Anders did not fight back and gave him a mocking smile and mouthed," Yeah... Kill me, Imperial Brother... " His gaze is ridiculing him as if saying," You know who needs who..."

Emperor Andrew gritted his teeth before releasing his brother and then seriously said, "Imperial Brother, I hope you would concentrate on mastering the necessary skills so we could successfully retrieve her soonest. I fear we do not have time to waste." 

Prince Anders coughed and wheezed to catch his breath before replying, "I know that... I want to see her too! " He walked towards his brother and whispered," My Dear Imperial Brother, I will tell you a secret..." He told his brother a detail on her body that only a person who has seen her naked would know. He instantly saw the turmoil in his brother's eyes so he continued," Why are you surprised? Remember, we love each other and we are about to get married... so it is very normal to feel tempted even before the wedding night! Didn't you wonder why little Antoine not only resembles me a lot but also behaves like me?" He smirked and left his brother silently thinking alone. He needs to practice the necessary skills needed to open the doorway to the land of the dead. He is very pissed! His brother not only stole his lawful wife on the wedding night but also stole his chance of becoming the biological father of her child! Not only that, his brother imprisoned him for almost six years in that place so he missed several important events and did not master the remaining abilities of dark arts just like his brother successfully mastered all the remaining abilities of forbidden arts during his absence!

That night, Emperor Andrew visited the crown prince's bedroom and stared at the boy peacefully sleeping. He gently caressed the boy's hair and realized for the first time that the boy's essence is also similar to his brother's essence just as much as it is similar to his signature essence. He sighed and left the bedroom silently... Next, he went to his bedroom and sat beside the unconscious Beatrix. He stared at her for a long time before he whispered to her ears," My love, please come back and let's raise Antoine together!"
