According to Prince Anders' calculation, his body will disintegrate and vanish before midnight but he could not go without her! She is his everything and he wants to be with her always! If they cannot be together in the land of the living then he will take her with him to the land of the dead!

He does not want to personally kill her so he told a lie to his supporters... He said he will dethrone and personally kill his Brother Emperor on their birthday and he will award immortality to the person who could successfully kill his wife while he is busy killing his brother!

His supporters and skilled men believed his words and thought that they will be successful in replacing the current Emperor! They thought that his love for his wife vanished when she entered his Brother Emperor's harem so they did not wonder why he wants her dead!

And so they did their best... Thinking that Prince Anders will soon ascend the throne and all of his loyal supporters will benefit the most like their revered leader!

The black-clad men are more enthusiastic about the promise of immortality so they targeted Beatrix first! They strongly believed that the person who killed her will benefit even more by gaining immortality!

Who does not want to be always young and alive?

So they happily and excitedly executed the order! They stabbed her and burned her place just to be sure...

I am so sorry, Beatrix... I just love you so much! I want to be with you always! I cannot go without you... In life and death, I want to be with you... So do not worry, okay? We will always be together... Forever...

Prince Anders thought as he silently weeps and rocks her dead body back and forth...

Emperor Andrew felt so uncomfortable! His instinct is telling him that something is wrong... He does not want her to leave his side, especially on this happy occasion but he cannot force her... A pregnant woman needs enough rest!

He wants to leave the banquet hall and accompany her instead but that is not giving her face and her efforts will go to waste! He looked at General Ardor and Lady Andrea. They look like a happy and perfect couple... In love with each other and faithful to each other!

Beatrix is already very lucky with her parents... I will make her luckier with our own family!!!

Emperor Andrew suddenly remember that he and General Ardor argued on different occasions...

The General is not comfortable with keeping secrets from his daughter. He knew what happened to Prince Anders and he wants to tell his daughter that the Emperor murdered her husband but he cannot let the General tell her the truth so he forced the General to keep his mouth shut forever!

"Father-in-Law, if Beatrix hates me and leaves me because you cannot remain silent... I might do something very strange so Lady Andrea leaves you..." He gently warned the General as if he is just discussing the weather.

General Ardor glared at him and then left without saying proper goodbye! Emperor Andrew just let the audacity pass by without punishment... After all, he needs to respect his Father-in-Law, for Beatrix's sake!

Another incident that they argued about in the past was still because of Beatrix...

"Your Majesty, may you please not let your concubines gang up and bully my sweet daughter!!!" General Ardor's words seem to be pleading but he said them in a commanding tone.

"Yes, Father-in-Law! Do not worry about it. I will protect Beatrix..." He gently assured the General. He knows that he is only worried for his beloved daughter. Even if the General did not say a word, he will never allow Beatrix to be bullied by anyone!

"Thank you, Your Majesty, but please stop calling me Father-in-Law. My daughter is not legally married to you." The General seriously told him.

Boom!

Something explodes inside Emperor Andrew's head! The General's audacity reached heaven! If he did not truly love Beatrix, he would have prepared a hundred graves for this impertinent man! A hundred graves for General Ardor's chopped body parts!

Emperor Andrew tried to remain calm and collected.

"Father-in-Law, please do not be harsh. Whether you like it or not, Beatrix will marry me in the future so you better get used to it." He smiled at the General.

"I dare not, Your Majesty! As long as my daughter is not legally married to you, Your Majesty is not my Son-in-Law; thus, I am also not His Majesty's Father-in-Law!" The General told him directly and did a formal farewell gesture and immediately withdrew!
