"Oh, you are right! He could stage a rebellion now!" Prince Anders declared and smiled gently while drinking a cup of expensive liquor. "Let's see... He originally had the support of the General's Mansion and the Prime Minister's Mansion. Aside from our Imperial Father, he also gained the approval and admiration of the majority of court officials..." He chuckled excitedly as he continued. "Imperial Brother, our dear friend has become a dangerous threat to your ambition!" Prince Anders grinned playfully. He already realized long ago that sitting on the throne does not interest him which is why he is not affected by the current situation in the court.

"He is still nothing! What do you think is my reason for amassing large secret forces externally? It is to protect me and what is mine! As long as he does not put his hands on someone or something that belongs to me, I am never an unreasonable person!" Prince Andrew declared in an extremely cold tone with a dangerous glint in his dark gray eyes.

Prince Anders chuckled even more and agreed: "Same here! As long as our dear friend does not fiddle with something or someone that is mine, I will always remain a kind and supportive friend!" He smiled and lifted his cup to encourage his brother to drink at the same time.

After they finished another cup of strong liquor, Prince Anders became very serious and asked, "Imperial Brother, what is the plan?"

"We must help our dear friend or should I say... the General's and Prime Minister's Household!" Prince Andrew smirked when he replied.

Ah, Imperial Brother! Sometimes I do not know if you are a friend or enemy...

Prince Anders silently thought while smiling excitedly as he downed another cup of liquor. He already had an idea of his brother's plan and it seems fun!

Zander is very happy when he heard from the Emperor that he is promoted to first-rank minister! He enthusiastically received the edict containing his appointment to that higher position! He smiled from ear to ear and thanked the Emperor as well as the two princes... Aside from the Emperor, the two princes helped greatly in pushing his career advancement and battling against the officials who did not approve of his very early promotion to one of the highest hierarchies since other officials are seniors and had the same or greater qualifications! It was Prince Anders who drafted and presented the petition for Zander's promotion while it was Prince Andrew who quelled the protest when he bluntly said that the reason for their decision is based on performance. He emphasized the fact that Minister Zander joined the court a few years ago but his achievement and contribution to the empire are already equivalent, if not more than the officials who already spent several years in the office. His point was if Minister King successfully did it in a short period using the current resources and authority that he has, how much more if he has more power, authority, and resources? In the end, Zander received the new position and excitedly went home to tell his beloved wife about the great news! After all, he would not make it this far without her and her family's help!

When the new first-rank Minister Zander left, the two princes looked at the departing carriage of their happy and excited friend...

"Imperial Brother, are you sure that you will not regret this move? We helped him reach higher... He could become more of a threat in the future!" Prince Anders grinned excitedly, he is already itching to know what will happen next.

"Why would I regret it? I have a feeling that we will soon know the true faces of the Lamoreaux and Marvel families." Prince Andrew smirked as he is also looking forward to the future movements of these two suspicious families. He and his brother assigned several men to infiltrate the General's and Prime Minister's Mansion to know their hidden secret. The first one was a pain in the neck while the second one seems clear! It was already expected, after all, General Ardor and Prime Minister Aaron held great power and influence in the empire... These two people would not easily let the other people see their skeleton in the closet! They thought that they would have to come secretly and visit this place personally in the future... But these past two years have been too busy for them. Aside from their regular night out to avoid their wife, Zander's performance seems ten steps ahead of them all the time so they need to keep up if they still want to hold their head up high! Above all, they are also busy practicing the book that was given to them by their masters and for some reason, they are still stuck and it is frustrating!
