Y/N and the group are sitting in the great hall for dinner. It was the night before school starts and the hall was bursting with energy and all the students were still excited to tell their friends about their summer.
The Ravenclaw girl eats her dinner quietly as she listens to her friends talk amongst themselves. Her eyes look over towards the Slytherin table and catches Draco's gaze.
He's sitting with Parkinson, Zabini, Crabbe and Goyle but Draco pays them no mind as he watches Y/N closely and the Ravenclaw does the same.
She saw the small green badge on his robes, so he's a prefect. There's no surprise there. Despite him being a total ass, the Slytherin boy wasn't stupid, he actually got pretty good grades and was fairly smart especially with potions. Parkinson was glued to his arm, looking up at him with an adoring expression. Since when did those two get together?
Draco gives Y/N a nod and she knows what it means. He's found a spot to perform the blood pact. The Ravenclaw knows what she has to do and nods. Draco understands the signal and gets up prying himself from Parkinson's grasp. Y/N does the same and stands up from the table, her friends look at her confused.
"Y/N" Flo says curiously
"Is everything alright" Hermione says looking at her with a worried expression.
Y/N looks at Hermione then back at Draco who is making her way towards Y/N and the group.
"I'm fine I'm just not hungry" Y/N says and gets up from the table walking towards Draco. As they meet Y/N bumps his shoulder as Draco slips a piece of parchment into her hand.
"Watch where your going Black" Draco calls to Y/N and he glares at the group when he walks past.
The Ravenclaw continues to walk out of the hall. Once out of the way of prying eyes, Y/N opens the piece of parchment.
Astronomy Tower, midnight
- Silver-Tongue
Y/N tucks the parchment in her pocket and walks to the Ravenclaw common room.

Y/N stood over looking the castle courtyard. The sky had turned a deep blue and the moon illuminating the castle.
The Ravenclaw stood there, stuck in her thoughts about her decision to go ahead with the blood pact. She knows that this is a bad idea but she also knows that it's the best way for her to trust her cousin and keep each other safe.
"Deep in thought are we" Callan says and Y/N turns around to see a playful smirk on his face.
"Something like that" Y/N says back and Callan joins her looking out to the courtyard
"Could it be something to do with the note that Draco have you" Callan says and Y/N looks at the Slytherin boy stunned
"What, I-"
"I'm not stupid Y/N I saw the note he gave you and what you two were doing and also at the gala. I know something was up" Callan says and the Ravenclaw sighs
"If you had the power to be able to protect the people you love even though you knew that the idea or the power was dangerous, would you still do it" Y/N asks
Callan looks at the Ravenclaw wearily "please say this is hypothetical"
"Just what would you do" Y/N says
"Well, if it guaranteed the safety of my loved ones then yes I would but it also depends on how dangerous the consequences are-"
"The most severe consequence is death" Y/N and Cal nods
"Right, then I don't know then. I guess you have to decide if this is worth it or not" Cal says and Y/N nods
"Thanks Cal that actually helps a lot" Y/N says and the Slytherin boy nods
"I just hope you know what your doing" Cal says and Y/N smirks weekly
"I always do" Y/N says with a smirk and the two hug each other tightly

After her talk with Cal, Y/N stayed in her dorm waiting to meet her cousin. She checked the time and it read 11:54 pm.
The Ravenclaw sighs and slips out of bed, still being dressed in the clothes she wore at dinner, grabs her wand and quietly sneaks out of the Ravenclaw dorm.
The castle is deadly silent at night and her footsteps echo throughout the halls as she makes her way to the astronomy tower. She makes her way up the steps and spots Draco staring out into the moonlight.
He smirks as Y/N approaches "always on time" Draco says and Y/N rolls her eyes
"Do you remember our terms" Y/N asks
"None of us can harm each other" Draco says
"And you'll leave me and my friends alone, especially Hermione" Y/N says and Draco nods
"The things I do for you to trust me" Draco says and Y/N frowns "what"
"Don't think that this means I've forgiven you cause I don't" Y/N says "I just won't us to stop this stupid fight that's been going on since first year"
"You forget the fact that I don't want us to hurt each other. When the time comes because we both know it's inevitable"
"Yeah, I know. Despite my better judgement I still care about you, even when my friends don't agree" Y/N says and Draco nods
"So you finally admit it" Draco says and Y/N rolls her eyes
"Don't make me regret saying it" Y/N says and Draco nods
"For what it's worth, I care about you too. Your the only person to really understand me" Draco says and Y/N nods
The Ravenclaw rolls up the sleeve of her shirt "you ready"
Draco nods and rolls up his sleeves like Y/N and makes his way towards her cousin. They stand face to face and cut the palms of their hands with their wands and join their palms together.
Y/N stares into Draco's silver eyes and nods as the two speak the incantation. As they do so, two drops of blood from their bloodied palms would glow and raise from their palms. Their drops of blood mingle into one. In the air, two silver rings appear with a flat pearl-white circle on the top.
They hold out the other hand and the rings fall into their palms. The blood pact had been formed signifying that the deal was struck.
"It's done" Y/N says
"It's done" Draco repeats "I hope that one day, we can put this all behind us"
"It won't be anytime soon, or maybe not at all Draco" Y/N says "not a word about this to anyone, especially your girlfriend"
Draco smirks "Pansy and started dating over the summer. She's easy to fool"
Y/N scoffs "so your playing her"
"No I like her but I have a feeling it won't last" Draco says
"I guess that depends on you" Y/N says and fiddles with the blood ring on her finger "goodbye Draco"
Draco doesn't say another word and just watches as Y/N exits the astronomy tower.
