Chapter 26 - Date Night

Y/N finds her girlfriend reading in the library and sits next to her with a smug look on her face whilst Hermione practically jumps at the intrusion. The Gryffindor was still in her uniform as she had just finished her last class for the day whilst Y/N had quidditch practise and changed into a black turtleneck and jeans.

"We're going on a date," Y/N says confidently and Hermione giggles

"Right now," Hermione asks and Y/N nods "As much as I would love to go, I have prefect duties soon"

Y/N leans closer to her girlfriend "Flo said she would cover you," Y/N says and Hermione stares at her curiously "Come on 'mione please. We haven't been on a date in so long"

Hermione grins "Okay," The Ravenclaw smiles and extends her hand to Hermione who takes it and the couple race out of the library down the hall the two of the then laughing as they run. "Y/N where are we going"

"You'll have to wait and see," Y/N says and they eventually make it to the Room of Requirement as it appears in front of the pair. "Please work" Y/N mumbles and opens the door to the room.

Inside was a large bean bag with various rugs and blankets with a few floating candles scattered out the room. There was also a projector and a pile of films next to it as well as a large assortment of snacks. Hermione's eyes widen with amazement and she squeezes the Ravenclaw's hand.

"Y/N you did all of this" Hermione asks and the Ravenclaw smiles

"Of course I did," Y/N says and kisses Hermione's cheek, "I thought it would be nice to have a movie night"

Hermione smiles giddily and leans in to kiss Y/N's lips tenderly "It's perfect"

"I'm glad you like it" Y/N says with a charming smile and leads her over to the pile of movies "So which one do you want to watch first"

Hermione looks through the assortment of movie options picking out two and hands them to Y/N who smiles "well what do you think"

Y/N looks at the title of the first one and looks confused "Mean Girls, I haven't seen it"

Hermione looks at the Ravenclaw shocked "what you haven't seen Mean Girls"

Y/N laughs "well I guess we have to watch this one first.

Hermione nods and makes herself comfortable on the bean bag taking off her robe, leaving her in her white blouse and plaid skirt. Y/N puts the movie on the projector a the film starts to play. The Ravenclaw grabs some snacks and snuggles closely to the Gryffindor's side as they watch the movie.

To Y/N's surprise, Hermione actually quoted most of the movie and the Ravenclaw girl was quite impressed and found it adorable. The movie itself was actually really funny and the two girls found themselves laughing throughout most of the movie.

The movie ends and Hermione gets up and puts the other one on and joins Y/N back on the beanbag. The Ravenclaw also grabs a blanket and wraps it around each other as Hermione snuggles closer to Y/N's side.

"I thought I would put on a movie that we both like," Hermione says and Y/N smiles as she knows exactly what movie they picked.
